I DID NOT KNOW THOMAS CUP WAS HELD IN MALAYSIA! =O

No wonder there were more Malaysian fans in the stadium than China fans for the first time in history since the competition between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan. For a second, I thought the population in China decreased drastically. That certainly will not happen in a gazillion years.

Okay, so there were plenty of supporters cheering Lee Chong Wei on as he competed with Lin Dan. And he lost to Lin Dan. We could not blame him entirely because he is a human, too. Humans will feel NERVOUS when competing. Anyone will feel intimidated after taking a glance at Lin Dan's smug grin. Besides, the whole stadium was filled with "LEE CHONG WEI! LEE CHONG WEI! LEE CHONG WEI!" and "CHONG WEI BOLEH!" and more from the opposing team's fans : "LIN DAN! LIN DAN! LIN DAN!" and "LIN DAN, JIA YOU!". Talk about major sound pollution. Have you ever watched a tennis match? The atmosphere is as silent as the grave; you can even hear a pin drop.

"Hong, why are the spectators in tennis matches always so deathly quiet unlike badminton matches?" I asked.
"Simple; they are all high class people," my brother answered matter-of-factly.

Oh. So that explains everything.

Lee Chong Wei VS. Lin Dan

All of a sudden, Lee Chong Wei reminds me of a skinnified Chu Zheng Ning and Lin Dan resembles a fattened Jay Chou.

Oh, my.
