Here's another post to AMAZE you, LOL. Again, I skipped school or else I wouldn't be blogging right now. Getting more and more bad ass already, Ru Min. :P It's my school's official Sports Day today aka my holiday. :D Don't wanna sweat for nothing. Anyway, I woke up at 9am today with my mum shaking the sleep out of me. In the midst of my morning blues and blurriness, I heard her mentioning something about "uncle", "driving" and "10am". I sprang up instantly because you see, I have really bad experiences throughout the whole process of getting my learner's licence.

My "L" licence. I look super suckish in it, darn.

Anyway, let me enlighten you with my bad experiences. CAUTION : Wordy post ahead but do read. You might benefit from this. :B Well, now. It's flashback time...

The five-hour undang course was fine. It was the six-hour amali course that drove me nuts. I went with my friend, Fei Ya, to listen to the course on a Sunday - 14th of April if I'm not mistaken. We were the only seventeen-year-olds there with the rest being older and bulkier than us. Oh, did I mention the rest of them were mostly guys? D: Scratch that, mostly men. Men that looked like thugs, smoke pot and do drugs. Creepy shit whey. And they stared at us like hungry wolves ready to pounce. Never see girls before, is it? -_- The course was broken up into two parts, each part around three hours long with a short break in between. I practically slept there because IDK WTH was the teacher blabbing about. Most probably nonsense.

Three hours later, we went to have lunch in a so-called "canteen" (it was made out of a tent). Actually, the whole area looked like a place where kidnappers threw their victims there to rot until the ransom money came. Flies were buzzing over all the food - our supposed lunch. I got a packet of crackers instead, at least I won't get diarrhoea because it's packaged. We sat at the edge of a long table and there were so many Indian men staring at us when we walked past, eyeing our every move. Freaking scary, okay. Everything went on just fine when another bunch of Indian dudes arrived and SAT AT OUR TABLE. It's not such a big deal but when there was AMPLE space to occupy, it's a humongous deal.

And the worse part was they didn't just sit at our table, they sat WITH us. As in, right in our faces. Practically ON us. ._. Alright, Paint time.

Yep, that's how normal people sit, with an imaginary line in the middle. No crossing over.

THAT'S HOW THEY SAT. Which was really scary because the dude beside me blew his smoke in my face. -_- Kanasai.

We quickly finished off our lunch and walked away. Should've ran, I know. The next three-hour course was conducted in the garage. We're supposed to learn how to repair cars. Fei Ya and I were like, "WTH? Repair cars? Please, that's the mechanic's job." A few Yao Ming faces later, we ran off and sat in the office instead. Spent all our time doing nothing but at least we had air cond. :)

Now, enough with the chit chat. Pay close attention because the next part of my story is really freaky.

It was time to go home so we logged out again. A dude (whom I later found out was the boss of the centre's son) and his friend came to fetch us back to the centre. Kinda confusing but just bear with me. We entered their car and I took out my cellphone to call my mum to get ready to pick me up. The son's friend turned around and stared at me with a weird smile on his face. After I was done talking, he asked, "Calling your mum to pick you up?" I said yea and asked him why but he just said nothing and continued smiling. Mind you, he's around 30+ years old and looked like a sex-craving middle-aged man. ._. I stared out the window throughout the whole journey back and I felt his eyes boring into my soul. It was really uncomfortable but I didn't say anything.

He suddenly told me that I looked familiar to him so I said, "Okayyy..." In my mind, I was thinking, Whose father is this? while he continued staring from the front passenger seat. "Where do you live?" he asked and I was slightly taken aback. I answered him and he just smiled that creepy smile of his. Like some dirty old man's smile. D: I was so sleepy so I just dozed off, lazy to melayan him. After a while, I woke up and realised he was STILL staring at me. I was kinda pissed/afraid/worried that we might get kidnapped so I messaged Fei Ya who was sitting beside me. I could see she was staring at me with a strange expression on her face. Fear, perhaps?

Halfway through the message, the weirdo dude said, "If you're free, do you wanna go have some tea with me?" I would've replied, "HELL, NO!" but I didn't, of course. I couldn't believe my calmness, though, when I just smirked - SMIRKED, YES - and said, "No." then I went back to messaging. I noticed that my hands were shaking, LMAO. He tried again, "Why? Will your dad get mad at you?" I laughed him off this time without replying but in my head, Get mad? At ME? Oh, please. He'd probably BELASAH YOU to death instead, you stinky scumbag. I may sound brave and chilled now but I was so freaked out at that time and I'm sure Fei Ya felt the same because she was poking me like crazy.

A right turn then we'll reach the centre. MANA TAU, the uncle's son took a LEFT TURN. Omagad, omagad, Ru Min, you're being kidnapped right now. Prepare youself, prepare yourself. Think, think! What to do? WHAT TO DO? My mind screamed. The disgusting man whipped around suddenly and said, "Byeee..." His attempt to sound sexy. Came off as disgusting and desperate, eww. Then, I realised we'd reached his house - the son was dropping his friend off. HALLELUJAH, PRAISE THE LORD! WE'RE SAFE! OMAGAD, YAAAY! :'D The minute he stepped out the car, Fei Ya gushed, "OMG, I think that man is mentally retarded." Couldn't have agreed more.

Later that night, the whole incident only started to sink in and I suddenly realised the magnitude of the situation. I screamed non-stop into my pillow. WE COULD'VE GOTTEN RAPED! D: Thank God, I was praying silently in my head the entire time. The Holy Spirit must have granted me the calmness that I need. Thank you, Lord! So, guys girls, never ever attend any driving courses alone. It's super dangerous, don't risk it. And trust me, you won't wanna experience what we'd experienced in a million light years.

Back to the present. My head was spinning when it hit me. I WAS GOING FOR MY FIRST DRIVING LESSON TODAY. AT 10AM. :D :D :D But then I shivered at the thought of a disgusting and horny old man teaching me. My mum even scared me by telling me that what if the man put his hand on my lap or something? I don't wanna live on this planet anymore. I prepared myself mentally and physically, praying hard that I'll not get involved in any hanky-panky. Believe me, I got so paranoid after that incident. And my brother always teases me about drinking tea. "Do you wanna drink tea with me?" He'd ask with a devillish smile on his face. Shit you lah, go and rot in a corner, please. -_-

I wore a shirt that looked like shit and my longest jeans ever. I tied my hair up until I looked like a grandma and wore socks so high and shoes so ancient that you'd think dinosaurs came after they were made. In short, I dressed like an Ah Pia and I didn't felt embarrassed at all. The man who went by the name Alex came and picked me up. I was so scared the first time I saw him because he was wearing shades and looked like a gangster. I prayed and prayed when I entered his car. He drove on silently while I stayed alert to my surroundings. Anything can happen.

He suddenly stopped the car at the roadside and told me to get out. I was stunned at first because I didn't know what was happening. Then, he told me to get behind the wheel and I felt a rush of adrenaline. It was scary and fun at the same time. Like a redox reaction. :D Sorry, Chemistry student. I was told to step the clutch to change gears. Changing of gears was mighty hard, especially the 2nd gear. FREAKING HARD TO CHANGE, OKAY. And the car kept stalling when I switched to the 1st gear because my foot came off the clutch too fast, LOL. I bet he was sick of teaching me, haha. But I was still very alert and keep my eyes peeled for any weird actions.

I got the hang of it eventually and it was so cool. He said driving is serious business and it wasn't a game. Damn well I know it wasn't a game. I was so scared of getting killed during my first lesson. TOUCH WOOD! *slaps face* I'm still alive, so yea. :) We chatted about his students and I found out most of them were from my church, my old school and my current school. I drove around roundabouts and felt like a pro. Best part was I didn't get my hands tangled when I was turning the steering wheel! Yaaay! :B

I felt quite at ease with my new instructor but I still kept a close eye on him, just in case. An hour later, I drove myself home and on the way back, he said he knew a teacher of mine that I was very fond of staying in my area. "Really?! How do you know him?" I asked, astonished. "Oh, we're from the same church." Same church. Same church. Church. CHURCH.

OMAIGOAT, HE'S A CHRISTIAN! REJOICE! :'D

After praying so hard, I was so relieved and happy that he was a Christian. I really thank God for that because he seemed like a religious person. NO MORE HANKY-PANKY. :'D I told him I was a Christian, too and mentioned that I'd once attended his church but then I went back to my own. He asked me which church I'm from so I told him and he exclaimed, "Oh, my! I have SO many students from that church!" And he started listing a bunch of people from my church. I felt a burden lifted up from my heart. I could breathe normally again.

Faith in humanity : RESTORED.

Really, what a great testimony! :D I really thank God for being with me and sending angels to camp around me, giving me peace in my heart. Thank you, Lord! :') Can't wait for my next driving class and finally, MY DRIVING LICENCE! 8D

If you checked the time I posted this, you shall be AMAZED. *_* Okay, failed attempt of sparkly eyes BUT you shall still be AMAZED - no, not because I'm blogging at an ungodly hour but ironically, I'm blogging in the MORNING. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the clouds are... fluffying? Nevermind that. My point is... I'm blogging in the MORNING. On a TUESDAY. A WEEKDAY. Which only means...

I SKIPPED SCHOOL. :D

Fuyoh, Ru Min whey. Skipped school. Bad ass lah now.

Ohh-kayyy. Anyway, it's not really such a big deal because my school is having the sports day rehearsal today so I don't wanna waste my time there and getting a useless tan during the whole rehearsal. Alright, back to the topic.

Hair. Nope, no more braids this time. As a matter of fact, no more braids for a LONG time.

BECAUSE I CUT MY HAIR. Look.

Just trim a little, they said...
Only four inches, they said...

Scumbag hairdresser. Ugly before, UGLIER NOW. -_- And if you didn't notice, I got myself a fringe! Suckish fringe. He totally ruined my hair lah, the fringe wasn't what I had in mind. My current fringe doesn't even look like a fringe. It's like this thin strip of hair that's too short to stuff behind my ears. And the worst part is the fringe is causing zits to sprout on my forehead AND YET it is too short to cover them. Yaaay. V-___-V

"WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR?!!"

Screamed at, stammered, spat at and asked - the ultimate question I received numerous times. You see, if you don't know me that well/haven't seen me before, my hair is epicly long - it's until my hips. I looked like those tribes in China who stay on high mountain tops, singing country songs all they long.

Yep, this is me before my haircut. My black version of Rapunzel's hairrr. :')

So, why did I cut it? I don't know really know the answer myself. Perhaps it's because the day before I cut my hair, we were doing a Biology project in school. We're supposed to look at pollen grains under microscope but IDK which genius (if I'm not mistaken, I think it's me ._.) decided to look at MY hair instead so we did. I chose a fairly long strand and placed it under the eyepiece and adjusted the power while a few of my eager friends crowded around.

And lo and behold! I almost fainted when I saw that strand of hair. MY hair. Under microscope. It was the most DISGUSTING sight I've ever seen. MY HAIR HAD SPLIT ENDS! It might not be disgusting for you because maybe you get split ends all the time BUT I DON'T. NEVER. But it wasn't just split ends. Every split end of the hair... HAD ITS OWN HAIR. D: Can't picture it? PAINT TIME.

You asked for it.

It was so revolting and my friends were gagging when they saw it. As much as I don't wanna part with my hair, those ends HAD to go. Yuck! My mum then brought me to the hairdresser the next day and I asked to trim my hair straight so the dude cut off four inches of my hair. Fine, four inches. I still can tahan. Then, I decided to get a fringe. I've never gotten a fringe for seven years so of course I'd like to think about it first lah. He said normally people who got fringes had their hair layered so I said, "Layered, it is!" I was still discussing with my mum whether I should get a fringe or not. It seemed like she was more unwilling to let the dude cut off my hair than me, LOL.

But when we were still discussing, THAT SCUMBAG TERUS CHOPPED OFF MY HAIR FROM THE FRONT! I stared at the loose clumps of hair on my lap for a long time then at the mirror in front of me. I had fringe immediately. AND IT SUCKED. He doesn't know shit about cutting fringes, I looked like crap! Fuhhh. I was still kinda shocked that I'd lost so much hair in such a short notice - PLEASE LAH, I was still DISCUSSING when he cut off my hair! That scumbag!

Still in shock, I didn't realise what he was doing with the rest of my hair until a foot long was gone. A FOOT LONG. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? A FOOT LONGGG! FUHHHHHHH. I hate my hair instantly. Looks like shit! >:( Mun Mun said it suits me well since layering gave my hair more texture and volume and many said I should've cut years ago. But nobody denied the fact that my fringe sucks.

I AM SO GONNA GET A NEW FRINGE. AND A NEW FRINGE I SHALL GET.

Of course, I'll go to a different hair parlour, hmph. I hope my new fringe will look fine on me, sigh. And able to cover my zits, too. (Y)

This sounds so cliché but I really do miss my long hair and my fringeless forehead. Now, I have to wait for two long years for my hair to grow back. :(

Words are clogging up my mind and everything's starting to get blurry. I have so many things to say but so little time! Gahhh. But first, lemme blog about my birthday. Hahaha, vain much? Well, I turned seventeen on the 5th of April which means... I SHALL GET MY DRIVER'S LICENCE! Soon. I'm growing physically but my mind is still so childish. Really, I think it stopped developing since I was six. Darn. And I don't feel anything different about myself. Maybe I'm a bit more confident (or too confident ==) and daring nowadays but my indecisiveness is still the same. I hate being ambivalent about the littlest things, ugh!

Anyway, proceed. Enough of my ramblings. :)

I still look the same. Which is bad. :( No sudden transformation of my physical appearances, unfortunately.

I don't really like the title of this post but that's the only term I can think of that clearly explains what this post is about. Yea, I'm blogging about the presents I receive. I shouldn't because it may seem like I'm boasting but I want to. They are my memories! :') And just so you know, I didn't expect to receive any, I swear. On a side note, no one gave me a Mockingjay pin/necklace. Aww, NVM. Wishes and hugs are enough to get me through the year. Yea, I know, I'm someone who's easily satisfied. :P

Presents that I've received on my birthday. Those that are not in this picture mean they're given after my birthday. And I really thank those people because they need not give me any! After all, my birthday is already over.

First one to be opened by me is from my grandparents.

They never fail to give me a card. I have seventeen cards now. :') Check out LAST YEAR'S.

From Amanda Lee Yi Shien. :P She asked me to guess what was inside the box but ended up telling me, anyway. "If you can't wear it, you MUST let me know, okay? I still have the receipt; I can go and change it!" LOL.

Yay for Barbie paper! :D

This is really pretty. Thanks for this, Amanda! :D I can wear it, BTW. I'm not that fat, hahaha.

Found this on my fence. Apparently, my neighbour/ex-schoolmate passed it to me but the present wasn't from him (as expected, haha).

The turtle is so adorable!

Inside laid this book. AND IT WAS EVEN WRAPPED, FUYOH.

IT'S FROM CCY! AWW, I LOVE YOU. ♥

I flipped the book over to read the synopsis and a chill ran down my spine...

It was something to do with Asperger's Syndrome. Right before opening Ccy's gift, I was reading another book...

Jodi Picoult's House Rules. Strange enough, it was also something to do with Asperger's Syndrome. Creepy much? D:

Proceed to the mail from the Land of Oz. I just adore my sister. :3

Teehee. So excited.

These were the contents.

I read the postcard first but it was for my grandparents so I just placed it aside. Not good to read other people's stuff lah, right? :)

Flipped the letter over - "NOT SALONPAS". LOL, dude, hilarious lah! (But I thought it really WAS Salonpas, hahaha.)

Wanted to tear open the letter but then, I saw this and laughed like mad. Hahaha, click HERE to get the joke, LOLOLOL.

What? I like the sticker! :)

THE CARD IS SO NICE LAH.

SEE? THE PICTURES ARE SO PRETTY. :O

Buddy! ♥

I opened the Salonpas box and guess what I found?

THESE HOMIES! :D SO NICEEE.

Omagad, they're from Diva. Must've cost her a bomb. D:

Four changeable pendants for the necklace. How cool is that? :D

Opened my unnie's present next. Super huge whey.

Fuyoh, contains so much sentimental value.

IDK how long I smiled when I read all the notes, Wei Yin. :')

Was reading the sweet notes she left me when suddenly, I saw this :

I was like, "WTH is this? A shirt?" Then, I flipped it over.

OHHH, I GET IT. ;))) I smiled like mad, okay. *blushes* HAHAHAHA.

LOL, so much cotton for what? Trying to achieve a dreamy effect, is it? :P HAHAHA.

SO PRETTY! I love this. Just makes me feel SO vain.

So pretty whey! :D

The following presents are those that are given after my birthday. I love them all! :D Thanks, guys!

These wonderful masterpieces are from mah homie, Bryan Ongz! :D :D :D Omagad, Bryan, I can't even express my feelings for them whey.

I loved them at first sight! TOO CUTE. The ultimate start of ringz collection, for sure! :')

Ahh, this is from Kaveeta, my awesome buddy from Sri KL. She's the first friend I made there. :3

Thank youuu! It's currently residing beside the card you gave me last year, Tata. :D

Hafiza, mah homie! Thanks for your card, I love the simplicity of it! :)

HAHAHAHA, TABLENEH, TABLENEH. ;)

Fuyoh, romance ah?

WHOA, COMIC LAGI. Good, easy to read. :D Thanks, Hafiza!

CHOCOLATES! And I'm supposed to be dieting. THANKYOUVERYMUCH, HOEV QUAN. -_- LOL. I will eat it when I reach my targeted weight. Which is never. HAHAHAHA. Thanks, anyway! :)

Well, my seventeenth birthday wasn't that bad. In fact, I had a blast! Not forgetting to mention the fact that Hafiza and Wei Yin sang screamed birthday songs at me after school, LMAO. :P Will never forget that. Oh, I asked for an electronic weighing scale as a birthday present from my parents because I was so SICK of being given false hope by those scumbag weighing machines in my house! -_- But they said it was too expensive. Oh, wellz. :/

Wishes, hugs, evil jokes, gifts and songs. I don't deserve to have such great people as friends, really. Thanks a million, guys, for everything. And Lord, thank You because I'm still alive and kickin'. ;)
