Speak to me.

I got back my English paper last Friday. If you're that desperate to know my marks, please ask me personally. I wouldn't want to put it here as some narrow-minded people might think I'm trying to show them off (which maybe I am). *evil grins*

I visited a number of blogs today and Vivian's blog never fails to make me happy. Thanks, Vivian! xD One of Bryan's latest post was funny - the one about getting girls to wear shorter shirts. It sounded kinky at first but it made a lot of sense after I've finished reading it. And Bryan, your current banner is awesome! This formspring.me thingie is starting to intrigue me - almost everyone has it. It's like the new Facebook but way cooler and simpler. AND SAFER. Looks kinda fun, maybe I'll go get one, too. ;]

Speaking about Facebook, I'm ecstatic to know that more and more people are quitting Facebook everyday! MUAHAHAHAHAHA. It took quite a long time to make you blind people realise that Facebook is actually a very dangerous thing, though. The creator of Facebook can give out your most personal information (like your bank account number *sucks in a deep breath sharply*) easily to anyone, anytime, anywhere. Nevermind, at least some blind people are healed.

You. Yes, you. Better quit Facebook before anything bad happens to you that'll make you regret for the rest of your life.

On a side note, I've decided to blog after reading Vivian's blog. Go thank her. =) And Wee Kye, Karate Kid is way awesomer than your oh-so-famous Killers. =P

Nope, I didn't get a B for Geography. What. A. Miracle. I was expecting to get 75% or something but guess what? I got 80%, okay! When I received my paper, I shouted, "I GOT AN A?!" and Kang Sheng sweared. HAHAHAHA, I'm sure he's jealous. *smug grin* I still think I was supposed to get a B for it but somehow God wanted to reward me for something (I don't know what) so He altered my answers to give me an A! WOOHOO! Praise the Lord, man! =D

Next, History. Ahh, History... *dreamy look* This time I only wronged eight questions and got myself a proud 87%. *sticks chin out* First time getting something higher than 85% in my entire history of secondary life. And I only studied for Form 3. HAHAHAHA. Last time I read from Form 1 to Form 2 without reading for Form 3 and I got a B. Now I know the secret : Most of the questions are from the Form 3 textbook. ;)

Stupid Living Skills. Never liked it, never loved it, never will. Oh, wait. There was once when I was nuts over Living Skills. Proof here. LOL. Anyway, I got 70% for Living Skills. Fine, I admit it : I didn't study AT ALL for that subject so serves me right. Too busy thinking I was smart enough to walk out with an A after that paper. Sheesh. The moral of the story is don't be overconfident, alright?

Well, it is quite depressing for my Mandarin paper. I WENT OUT OF TOPIC. ='( At first, the teacher gave me 27/30 for my essay but later when she referred to the other teachers, my marks dropped to 12/30. Aww, shucks! So after adding up Paper 1 and Paper 2, I got 64%, how wonderful. == What Say Fong said cheered me up a little : "79% is a B, 60% is a B, 65% is also a B, what is there to be sad about?" LOL, he's damn right. HAHAHAHA.

Then, Bahasa Malasnya. *sigh* Just a pathetic 68% when I was expecting more. I don't know how our teacher grades us. She's really strict with our papers and nobody - I repeat, NOBODY - got an A for BM in our class. There are quite a few (not more than ten, though) who got an A for BM in 3A. Lucky chaps. But what do you expect? They are 3A students.

Science. Nah, don't wanna talk about it. Don't feel like bragging today. *smirks*

Hmm, 94% for Mathematics. Not too bad but could be better. Kinda glad I'd made no careless mistakes in Paper 1. It's the Paper 2 that pulled my marks down. =/ I'll try striking a 100% next round. LOL, sounds like I'm bowling or something. xD

There's English. What does "log on to" mean? As urbanites, we come across that word EH-VER-REE-DAY so we ought to know, right? WRONG. I got that question WRONG. And that was the one and only question I got WRONG. Screw that question. We didn't receive Paper 2 as my English teacher was absent today, hence, my marks are still lurking somewhere in the dark...

I'm not going to update about the other useless subjects. I roughly know how many A's I'm going to get this time - 5A's/8A's. Oh, well. Better luck next time. Now it's time to stuff myself with never-ending years of piano theory past papers. =)

And that smile is fake.

Just now when I was playing Sophie's Stew in Neopets (yes, I'm playing Neopets again to relive my past memories) a lady rang the doorbell outside. Without thinking, my (stupid) maid almost opened the door and let her in. Wtheck, what if she's a serial killer?!! I don't wanna die so early. I let all the witch's ingredients plop to the ground (not to mention my lives dropped to zero immediately) and ran to stop her before we all got murdered. Instead, I went out while my maid and my grandmother stood by the doorstep (and watched ==).

"Yes?"
"Is anyone living here goes by the surname "Lim" or "Tan"?
"No."
"Eh?" *flips through a notebook and points* "Look, they say this is either the "Lim" household or the "Tan" household."
*looks at her* "But we don't go by those surnames."
"Do you speak English or Mandarin?"
"Both, but I prefer English."
"Is this your house address?" *points at some scribbles in the notebook*
*nods head* "I think you're at the wrong house. There's many [censored], [censored] 1, [censored] 2 and [censored] 3 in this neighbourhood."
"Hmm." *frowns and turns head to look at her friends in her car* "I just got bitten by that dog a few days ago." *points to my neighbour's house opposite mine*
*shock*
"Anyway, are you studying in college?"
"No, secondary school." *highly offended* (I was quite suspicious at this point.)
"Okayyy..." *skeptical look* (She doesn't believe I'm in secondary school. ==) "What form are you in?"
"Form 3." (Suspicion grows.)
"Which school are you from?"
*hesitates for a few minutes* (What? There's a lot of wolf in sheepskin around!) "Kwang Hua."
"Oh, really?" *interested* "Government or the private one?"
(I almost said, "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." But that's rude.) "Government school."
"I see. My niece studies there, too."
*nods slowly* (Like I'm going to believe that.)
"I'm giving out this Christian magazine." *points to her car* "As we all know, everyone has problems, right? You have problems, I have them, too. But luckily, we have God here with us and we can count on Him, yes?"
*nods* (Kinda shocked to hear she's a Christian - I know, she didn't say she was but still.)
"Wait." *scurries to her car and rummages through her bag*
*stood there waiting like a fool while the people in her car kept staring at me*
"This is the magazine." *shows me a Mandarin magazine* "In here they'll explain all about Christianity. Look." *points at a title which read 'Does all Christians go to heaven after they die?' in the magazine*
*nods again*
"Alright?" *looks at me feverishly and smiles* "Here you go."
*takes the magazine slowly* (Maybe there's a bomb inside?)
"Okay, I have to go now. We'll visit you next time, alright?" *squeezes my hand*
*smiles weakly and nods*
"By the way, what's your name?"
"Uh..." (She's going to kidnap me, she's going to kidnap me, she's going to kidnap me, I thought.) "...Ru Min." *scolds myself silently for telling*
"Okay, bye!" *jumps into her car and revs off hurriedly*

SHE. IS. GOING. TO. KIDNAP. ME.

I've told her my school, which form I'm in and my name. MY NAME. HOW CAN I BE SO STUPID?!! Now I have to look out for her before and after school. I'm sure she's planning to kidnap me already. CONFIRMED. Who wouldn't kidnap someone when they've gotten all the victim's details??? Maybe they'll chop me up into millions of pieces when they've kidnapped me and sell different parts of me to different countries in the world if my parents can't afford the ransom money.

Well, at least they fulfilled my dream of going around the world.

I'm going to die. DIE. DIE. DIE.

Okay, let's rewind a little bit. I want to talk about Neopets! =D These are my pets and their petpets!

Smileyfurryfacie the Jubjub and her petpet, PokokRu the Fir.

And Stinkybattlefighter the Skeith and her petpet, Spacebattlefighter the Yoakie.

If you're interested, please view my lookup, my Neohome (although it's empty), my shop and my gallery. Thanks! =) By the way, you need a Neopets account in order to view my shop and my gallery so go log in if you have one or sign up now if you don't!

What are friends? Someone who really cares and listens to what you say? Someone who stands up for you when you're facing difficulties? Someone who you can trust? If that's your answer, then I dare say I have none. I know you're just going to ask, "But why? Am I not a good friend to you? Can't you trust me? Do you even know I care about you?"

Here's why.

No friends of mine - not even one - had ever stood up for me. From my experience, they either ran away or just stood there and stare. Some even took the opposite side. Traitors. Next, none of them ever bothered to listen to what I say. They just nod as if they know what I'm saying and don't give any advice. Some even joked about it - which is not funny at all. There is not even a single friend that I could trust. None. Nil. Nothing. When I was younger, I trusted everyone because I believed the world still has the existence of good people. But now, nah. All is fake. They just want to befriend you for their own benefit. So I've been thinking, why bother making friends at all? They only want to spend those happy moments with you and leave you when you're not getting high with them.

Here's another question.

What if you found out a close friend of yours wanted to commit suicide? You spotted the signs and his or her behaviour changes. Will you reach out? Or will you just step aside and let someone else deal with it? Recently, it seems everything just evolves around suicide. Why? Because people think that's the easiest way to solve problems. Don't get me wrong, but I've been thinking about suicide a lot lately, too. If it weren't for the consequences of committing suicide (which is plunging straight to hell), maybe - just MAYBE - I would've done it, too.

Once I thought it was stupid. I ridiculed those who committed suicide or almost did. They are cowards. Now I understand why they did it. It's because nobody reached out. They know people (like me) will just tell them off. Nobody ever asked suiciders (before they died) what happened that caused suicide to be their final decision or tell them what's wrong; they just say, "No, don't commit suicide. That's stupid." And that's it. Is that even reaching out? No. I can guarantee 100% if I were to ask my parents, "What will you do if I committed suicide?" They'll sure to say, "Shush! Stop talking nonsense!" That's all. Not a parent in this entire universe will ask this question if their child said that to them, "Why would you do that?"

Some of you might have seen it. I've finished this book quite some time ago. I didn't start on a new one because I have too much to think about (and partly, because I don't have any books left). Th1rteen R3asons Why tells the story about a boy named Clay receiving a shoebox which contains a few cassette tapes explaining why a girl (he really liked) called Hannah Baker ended her life. It may seem scary at first but when the story slowly unfolds, it's really meaningful.

I'm just going to keep it short but I cried myself to sleep and woke up crying for a couple of days after I read that book. It must have been the huge impact that hit me and I don't know why I cried (I'm not sad or anything) but I just did. I learnt that whatever you do or say, your words and actions can change a person's life. I'm not saying that you've lost your freedom of speech but just... watch what you say. Yea, choose the right words.

I could lend you the book but I won't. You may think I'm selfish but wtheck, I don't care anymore. Life is short. After that unforgettable experience (I once lent a friend my expensive book and when she returned me, the pages came loose and some were torn), I will never lend anyone my books ever again. If you're interested in listening to those tapes I'd mentioned, click here.

Hey, apples!

Yes, I went to England.

It's snowing outside!

Ahh, the evil twin. >=)

It's so misty over there. But hey, why am I wearing shorts? Hmm, something's fishy over here.

Okay, I admit it. I did not go to Wonderland and visit Alice. And neither did I go to England.

I WENT TO BALI!

Before we boarded the plane, we went to Old Town White Coffee to have our lunch.

Taking pictures of sugar. -_- Look at the evil twin.

I was so bored. But I like this picture with the sugar raining down, giving a soft and mild effect. ;]

We didn't know they were serving food in the plane. Although I was extremely bloated, I still gobbled down the food. Didn't I mention once I love food? =D

Look. They served Häagen-Dazs for dessert. *mouth waters*

When we arrived at the Ayodya Hotel, they served us our welcome drink.

Rich, pure and original guava juice. Mmm... If you're wondering why the juice didn't flow out of the rattan, it's because there's a glass inside, you blindie.

People say you could get lost in the hotel. I strongly agree with that. And you could lose a few pounds by just walking to your room from the lobby.

This is just the walkway from the lobby to the rooms... *speechless*

The next day, we went to Bali Collection before heading off to Ulu Watu to watch the sunset in the evening. It was breathtaking, amazing, awesome and I-don't-know-what-to-think-of beautiful. Plus the monkeys there were snatch thieves - they took whatever they see. They must have been trained by the people there to steal stuff and give the stolen goods to their masters, I thought.

Wow.

Naughty chimp. Stealing a poor kid's shades is not funny.

They were going to perform this Kecak dance when the sun was setting. It wasn't even a dance, I'd say. It's called Kecak dance not because there's special meaning to it; it's named like that simply because the dancers shouts "Kecak! Kecak! Kecak!" non-stop throughout the whole dance. It's kinda hilarious. We waited a about half an hour till our butts hurt from sitting so long when the dancers started performing. Mmm. *frowns*

Super awesome.

There you go. The Kecak-ers.

Not really sure when this two started fighting. I didn't read the background story that was given to us before the dance started so I don't know the story.

Suddenly, it became a fire dance???

Haha, me and one of the monsters.

When we were having our dinner at the seaside, this dog suddenly appeared beside where my dad sat and lie there. My dad must have been up to something. No dog in its right mind will sit beside my dad for no reason. Must be the fish morsels on the sand that attracted it. *nods head knowingly*

Emerald eyes are pretty. ;)

In Bali, if you want to swim in the sea, you go to a beach. If you want to breathe in cold air, you go to the mountains. And that's where we went the next day (or some other day; I forgot) - Kintamani. Lunch was delicious when we witnessed the beauty of the volcano. LOL, sounds weird.

I can't stop shivering when my dad snapped this picture. It was super freaking cold.

Suddenly, the volcano exploded!

Lava started trickling down the side of the volcano and my body parts flew all over the place. I saw my hand landed on someone's plate. He screamed.

Okay, just kidding. Back to the story.

At night, we had our dinner in a special shop. We stuffed ourselves with a whole chicken and a whole fish. You did not read wrongly. Yes, together with the bones. Or else why would I say the shop is special? They are skilled in pressurized-cooking till the bones are all crispy and yummy. It felt great munching those bones. Even dogs can't do that - they only nibble on bones not swallow them.

Waiting patiently for food. Okay, impatiently.

Some day later, we went to I-forgot-what-this-place-is-called. I only know there's another volcano. What's so cool with this volcano is there's a lake in the peak of the volcano. What if one day the volcano got active again? Will it blast the tourists seated in speedboats floating on the lake off to outer space? I'd never know.

Some temple thingie.

On the lake.

At least there's beautiful flowers all around. Evil twin's pose looks kinda strange. *raises eyebrows*

Up a speedboat we go and away from land we went!

Is that a village I see? Do natives stay there? I can't wait to see a Red Indian!

Astaga! It's a high-class hotel!

See those little people? They're welcoming us back from our little boat trip. =P

Our guide, Adi, invited us over for a Balinese dinner in his house. It was scrumdiddlyumptious! If you're wondering what that means, go check out Roald Dahl's books - they're freaking awesome.

Romantic, is it not? The thingie circling the light is made out of a sliced-thin banana tree trunk. Adi's wife sells these to hotels and boy, do they earn big bucks from these!

Time to go back. Sad to leave, but finally, home sweet home.

Last picture with the hotel. Yes, it is very grand.

Hey, lemme show you something.

What do you think this is?

Cotton, maybe?

THINK AGAIN.

THEY'RE CLOUDS!

Über fluffy clouds! Cuddly clouds! Soft clouds! Thick clouds! (As if I've touched clouds before and know how it feels like. *rolls eyes*)

Finally, touched down in Malaysia! =D!

Aww, poor Cloudie, wandering all by yourself above Bolehland.

I have more snapshots and videos but I'm super lazy to upload them. Takes up most of my precious time. So be grateful and appreciate these, alright? If you really really really want to see them, drop by my house (only those with my permission to do so)! =)

By the way, "Astaga!" means "Oh, my God!" in Indonesian. We learnt it after watching plenty of English movies while reading the Indonesian subtitles. I found out that we use "Oh, my God!" very frequently because the word "Astaga!" kept appearing at the bottom of the TV screen. == The evil twin shouted, "Astaga!" when my mum was haggling with a seller (my mum haggles like a pro *brags*) and the seller burst out laughing. Seriously, it was HEE-LAY-RIOUS!

The evil twin could be so cute sometimes.

I said, SOMETIMES.

And I really hate that Upin & Ipin show. Screening in Disney Channel almost every single hour. We wanted to watch some Mr. Bean cartoon or Shaun the Sheep in the hotel but that stupid show kept hogging the screen.

Screw that show.
