Today, I don't feel like doing ANYTHING! :D
I just wanna lay in my bed DO FINISH MY HOMEWORK.

NAHHH. JUST KIDDING. 8D

What? Did you actually think I was going to do my homework? *rolls eyes* NVM, I won't blame you 'cause I actually thought I'd do my holiday homework today, too. Procrastination got the better of me. Thank God.

Spot the real cut. There's a story behind this. Shall tell you at the end of my post. :)

I went out for dinner with my family in Kinsahi yesterday. The food there never fails to wow us. In my opinion, they have the best food presentation and their eats actually taste good. No, I'm not a fussy pot; just telling the truth. We had to wait for 15 minutes before we could enter because there was so many people! Yes, this proved that the food was that good. :9 When we were finally seated, we waited for another 10 minutes before we were served. I don't mind; good food is worth the wait. :P

I tried out my cammie after choosing what I wanted to eat. I wasn't ambivalent for the first time, yay me! Well, I have this bad habit of asking people to choose stuff for me to buy/eat, be it food, a bracelet design, an ice-cream flavour or even shoe sizes! LOL, I'm very indecisive. Anyway, back to my cammie. There's this black spot on it and I couldn't seem to remove it by cleaning the lens with a lens pen. I tried taking many spot-free pictures with it yesterday... and I was lucky! No snapshots appeared with that nasty spot. :D

I have a certain fancy for chandeliers, I don't know why. Whenever there's a chandelier, I'd surely take a picture of it. Maybe because chandeliers are shiny... *_*

Tried bokeh effect and succeeded! #likeaboss

Affinity for shiny things... :O

Oh, yes. This is for Aaron of 10 Sigma. If you're reading this, this is my brother that you're so interested in...

.

.

.

HAHAHAHAHA. As if I'd show you. In your dreams. F3

This is me. Hahaha, WTH.

Random light trails. Damn fail lah.

Finally, the scrumdidlyumptious food had arrived! YUMMMZ!

First dish. 8D... (If you're an avid reader of my blog, you'll know the dots represent saliva dripping.)

Oozing with delight!

Too yummy to pass off. :d

This is my dish. Spider ramen. The dish that failed my taste buds. :( Too much MSG, I felt so thirsty after eating it. :/

Didn't take photos of other food. Too busy eating, heh. Other than my spider ramen dish, the rest of the meal was fantabulous! :D On a side note, I think I'll put on weight again during this holidays. Shucks. >:( All my three weeks of starvation to lose weight will go to waste.

So, back to my cut. The real one is obviously the one at the top. No, I wasn't planning my suicide when I cut myself, chill. I didn't even know the cut was there! On Friday, when I was still in the school canteen, I was talking to Amanda when I noticed the cut. I was like, "Hey, I don't remember drawing myself with a red pen..." I went to wash my arm, then. I rubbed and rubbed at it, trying my utmost best to remove what I thought was ink. To my dismay, it started to hurt. I looked at it very closely and came to a realisation :

IT IS REAL. D8

When I went for tuition later, I asked my friends whether they think the cut was real or not and they said immediately, "Pffft, fake lah." I smirked and replied, "Pffft, real lah." I attempted a fake cut by using my red pen to show them the difference. The red colour of the fake cut looked so bright, what a contrast. Then, I drew another blue line and said, "See? Blue blood." Get it? Blue blood? The series? :D Okay, lame. End of story. LMAO.

BTW, I'll be going somewhere special and mysterioso (fine, I forgot where) tomorrow till Wednesday. Sigh, lazy to leave the house and my beloved MapleStory lah; I'm a hermit.

We dissected a goat's (or was it a cow's?) body organs in Biology class today. It didn't really appear disgusting to me. I thought I was scared of blood but I wasn't, a little grossed out but not scared. I could be a doctor, after all. :) Many of my classmates were cowering 'cause they were disgusted by the sight of the organs. Kaveeta cried when I touched her as apparently, she thought I'd already touched the organs and then touched her. Sorry, K. Didn't mean to scare you. D:

Melissa and Mun yeed were so brave. They're the ones dissecting the organs. People were calling them sadists. Someone even said Mun Yeed was smiling when she sliced open the goat's liver, hahaha. Sick lah you, Mun Yeed. I stood just right in front to watch them dissect. Never thought I'd be interested in all this bloody stuff. Melissa shoved the goat's freshly cut open spleen into my nose when I leaned over to sniff it. Ugh, I still get a whiff of stinky goat blood. Too strong. Bathed for the third time now. -_-

I think I know what I wanna be when I grow up - a dieter! :D Yes, I wanna go ON DIET. I'm doing so now but it doesn't seem to be working. I'd sacrificed so many breakfasts, breaks in schools and lunches but my weighing scale still shows the same reading, WTH. WEIGHING SCALE, Y U NO CHANGE INTO A SMALLER READING??? I'm starting to think that something is really wrong with my weighing scale. I've been "fasting" for three weeks now. No difference. Babi, might even start refraining from dinner if this continues on.

Gosh, I'm starving. Currently imagining myself eating one of Kaveeta's awesome homemade cookies. :9 And Amanda and Wei Yin's, too. Mmm...

Kaveeta's.

Amanda and Wei Yin's. WITH MY NAME ON IT. So sweet. ♥

Ohmygawd, me gusta whey... *drools*

Shit, haven't done my English essay. Gotta run, ciaoz. :)

Expecting another emo post, eh? NAH, NO WAY. I'm sick of being emo after one week. Makes me feel like a pathetic loser. -_- BTW, loving Kaveeta's motto of Barney Stinson's quote : When I am sad, I stop being sad and be AWESOME instead. True story. Respect! :D

I went to watch Fragile with my ballet friends last Saturday.

Fragile is a contemporary ballet performance presented by JS Dance Theatre. It was so exciting! :D Right after my mum took me home from Mandarin tuition (it was hell), she treated me to GCB for dinner! Fuyoh, miracle. 'Cause given the fact that I'm already so fat and having a hard time losing weight (screw you, metabolism==). She even got me those shaker fries, yumz! Instant 1000000 calories lah, I know, but NVM. After all, life is short. *nods head* Heh.

Upon returning home, I quickly changed into something more formal (not a skirt, don't dream) and secretly stuffed my cammie into my bag. My mum doesn't like me lugging the DSLR around. "Very heavy, and not to mention dangerous! There are a lot of snatch thieves lurking around, you know," according to her. "Better not take it with you." *rolls eyes* Anyway, Caryn had agreed to take me to KLPAC and she suggested I waited at the McDonald's near her housing area. And so I did. Which was weird. 'Cause twenty minutes ago I'd just went to one near MY housing estate. LOL.

Jia Qi was already in the car when I entered, busy sending messages to her boyfriend uh, listening to her headphones.

Caryn on the left.

The journey was kinda long. Caryn's parents wanted to treat us to dinner but I refused to because :

  1. I'd already had my dinner
  2. I'd look like my parents never feed me enough food/greedy
  3. I felt... embarrassed? :/

They ignored my refusal anyway and ordered side dishes for me to munch on. Nice people, very nice indeed. Oh, did I mention we had a vegetarian, NON-FAT meal? >:) Yea, man. (Y) Totally awesome. Wait, I just ate a GCB. Darn...

We arrived there when it was almost 8pm and the entrance to KLPAC was really creepy at night. Looong, daaaaark, deeeeep entrance. Thank God it wasn't the spirits' happy hour. *shivers*

A supposed shot of KLPAC. Dragged the camera before the shutter could, well, shut to capture the whole image, causing it to be blur. #fail It looks artistic to me, though. *indignant*

On the way.

The minute I marched in KLPAC, gawd, I saw Co Ra and Yvonne! My ex schoolmates! JOY! It was a worthy champagne-popping time. I rushed over and hugged them till they choked (teehee, exaggerating, but you get the point).

Yvonne and Colala! 8D

I admit it, I was torn apart to whom I was supposed to mingle with before the performance started - my ballet friends or my ex mates? I chose my ex mates, in the end. After all, when will I have the chance to see them again? God knows. We chatted like old friends (we ARE old friends!) but sadly, the seating started right on time. We queued up to get in.

Not as many audience like the time I went to watch Cinderella presented by Dance Space.

Ballet flats. My first girly pair of shoes on the right. D: Thanks to my mum; she bought it for me to wear on the day I took my piano exam. Sigh, piano exam... :'(

They were sitting so far behind. :( We'd continued chatting through the phone, though. Yes, I called them before the show started. :P

The performance started and I was all set to snap a picture but mana tau a deep voice boomed throughout the whole theatre saying, "Any forms of photography and videography are strictly prohibited unless prior authorisation has been granted." Sad, sad world. :'( We sat through the dark while watching the dancers rolling around on the ground. Clearly, I didn't understand what was going on; the dancers were everywhere, doing stuff that made zero cow sense.

I roughly knew it was something to do with this guy liking this girl who didn't like him and liked another guy instead. The guy who the girl liked had a lot of issues and seemed to be mentally harmed, constantly fighting with himself to stay sane. In the end, he died and was placed in a glass coffin(?) with the rest of the dancers dancing around him. Damn sick and weird. ._. The girl was devastated and the guy who liked the girl wanted to stop her from seeing the dead guy but she refused to and went to see him - she even danced around on the coffin. Ohh-kayyy.

Wait, did what I said make any sense? LMAO.

Went back after that.

The performance ended abruptly; I even thought there was a next show and continued sitting there like a dog. -_- I couldn't say it was disappointing 'cause the dancers had performed so well with magnificent skills and techniques but sad to say, I felt... dissatisfied after watching the show. Perhaps it's because I don't get the whole storyline? :/ Argh, feeling so shallow right now. Maybe contemporary ballet isn't my thing. Oh, well.

Oh, and before I end, I must say this one last crucial thing :
THAT GUY WHO LIKED THE GIRL TILL THE END IS SO BODOH. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER GIRLS OUT THERE LAH. DON'T BE LAZY AND OPEN YOUR EYES WIDER TO FIND ONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE A CRUSH ON DEAD BODIES.

Enough said. Thank you. x)

"YOUR FIRST SONG WAS LIKE SHIT, MAN!"

That's the first thing my mum said the minute I stepped out of the room.

I was feeling pretty confident about myself when I entered the hotel. All my friends had already wished me the best of luck - thanks a lot for the support :) - and I thought I could pass this time. I was the first candidate, waiting to be slaughtered by the examiner's criticisms. Silently memorising the periods for my aural test in my seat in the foyer, a giant bloke with rosy pink cheeks appeared out of nowhere. The examiner. He wanted to start early. Oh, good God.

I put on my best-est smile and greeted him as cheerfully as I could when I strutted into the examination room although my heart was pumping furiously. Scales were fine until the arpeggios. Minor mistakes led to major ones. I didn't know why I kept mumbling an apology every time I hit a wrong note or started off wrongly. I mean, seriously, do you think the examiner will care? He's just waiting eagerly for a mistake to happen to fail you lah, dumb shit.

His smile was tight when he told me to play my first song. I flipped open my exam pieces calmly and placed my fingers on the right keys, ready to start. But sadly, malang tidak berbau. I'd already struck the wrong note in the first bar. THAT PART WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE WRONG. If I'd played wrongly at the last few bars of the piece, I'd understand 'cause those bars are my weakest, BUT THIS? THE BEGINNING? TUUT! I feel like slapping myself all over. I apologised (for the millionth time) and started again. The whole song was a wreck. It was supposed to be an okay song but it turned out to be a piece of shit. Sadness overload.

I breathed heavily after finishing up the remnants of the song. So many stops and hiccups in between I couldn't keep track. My fingers were numb and cold. I was shaking when I played my second song. I didn't even bother to play with the dynamics on and the whole piece was boring. I'd practically given up on the entire exam; I just wanted everything to end quickly. My third piece... wasn't my best either. Like I've said, one mistake led to another. Chain reaction. Like dominoes.

The examiner was kind enough to give me an easy sight-reading piece but even that I couldn't play well. My butter fingers got tangled up and there were plenty of missing notes. No dynamics, no tempo, no slurs, no articulation, no nothing. The examiner took in a sharp intake of breath before continuing on to the aural test. I sang like a frog for the first part. -_- My voice got caught in my throat and I croaked, like literally. I think I even got my cadences wrong. What the heck. Next, I was supposed to sing a short phrase but my voice couldn't reach the note (too high) so the examiner suggested we switched to another song. Sure sign of failing. :(

Lastly, he played a short piece and I was supposed to talk about the period, texture, character, mood and stuff. I stammered and had all my words mixed up. Shucks. Everything that happened in that half an hour was like shit. Shit to the max. He seemed relieved when it was time for me to go. I tried my best to leave with my head held high but as soon as I pushed open the door, my pride crumbled. Like an ancient brick building.

My parents were already discussing whether I should retake the exam next year. Obviously, they're positive that the examiner's gonna fail me. I think so, too. My mum was furious. My dad was disappointed. I was frustrated. I screamed my lungs out when I was at the carpark before entering my mum's car. In there, she told me that it served me right for not listening to her advice; I really should have, after all, she'd scored a distinction for her last grade. Served me right.

However, I refuse to speak about negativity because negative comments attract negative outcomes; there's no Murphy's law in there according to the bible. I don't even wanna think/admit that I'd fail my Grade 8, no way.

The mouths of fools are their ruin; they trap themselves with their lips.
- Proverbs 18 : 7

I still hope for a miracle. My dad hadn't gone completely bonkers like my mum and he gave me a comforting speech over the phone just now. I'm praying really hard that God will show me a miracle although I'd already done so badly. Now, it's all up to Him.

Fingers crossed.

I've been emo-ing a lot this week. Must be the fever that's gotten to me. :( I feel like dying.

Went to my first Mandarin class just now after seven long months. It feels weird to write Mandarin characters again, like my brain is not programmed to do those stuff anymore. I see the teacher's lips moving but I can't make out what he's trying to say. I don't get a single word. I kept asking my friend beside me for help. So many simple words I've forgotten how to write, words that I no longer understand. She must have been so sick of my questions.

Mandarin has been my worst subject all along and now it's beyond worst. Whenever I wanna write a Mandarin character, I stare at my paper for a second before the word hits me. Sadness flushes over me every time this occurs. I remembered last time although my Mandarin's bad, I still knew how to write some flamboyant phrases. At least a few of them. Now, none. Nothing. Nil. Zero. I feel like crying.

Yes, for fifteen long years I've loathed Mandarin and longed not to learn that language all my life. Now, I've finally gotten what I'd wanted... but that's not exactly what I want anymore. My parents don't know Mandarin and they struggled when Mandarin-speaking patients approached them. Come to think of it, to stop learning Mandarin after fifteen years is such a waste. I've missed seven months of Mandarin and now I'm struggling.

My old friends throw me funny looks when I ask them the simplest of words. I don't know how to write a Mandarin essay anymore and sometimes, I don't get what my friends are trying to tell me. I no longer speak fluently (not that I did last time, but better than now at the very least) and my tuition teacher looks at me as if I were the stupidest person in the world. He wouldn't believe me if I told him I got an A for Mandarin in my PMR last year. Who would at this rate I'm going? :(

Can't help feeling sorrowful that I've lost something that had never meant as much to me as now. Sometimes, we don't know how much something means to us until we lose it. So very true.

It started off with me having a really bad migraine and sore throat. I was too exhausted 'cause I slept late the night before. Lazy to get up for school and tried to pretend I was very ill (which was quite true, actually). I felt guilty (and there's going to be a Maths test today) so I practically dragged myself out of bed to get ready. Upon arrival, I reluctantly plodded my way to class like a zombie. The first thing that hit me when I stepped into class was my Accounts homework. Darn, I forgot! Had to finish the homework and by that time, school had already started and there was no more time for me to sleep.

AND THEN I REMEMBERED MY LEARN-A-WORD-A-DAY BOOK. -_- Forgot to bring to school. Again. Had my Physics marks (my class teacher teaches me Physics) deducted once and now history will repeat itself. Stupid. I had to ask Hafiza to help me ask around whether anyone could lend me one. Thank God for Kelly, yay! But in the end, THE TEACHER DIDN'T EVEN ENTER OUR CLASS TODAY.

WTHOMGBBQLASERGUNPEWPEWPEW TO THE MAX.

Proceed. First period, Accounts. Couldn't understand a thing. Emo. I officially HATE Accounts. Then during Chemistry period, I couldn't finish my Chemistry project. Emo x10. I officially
HATE Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 and blame it for my unfinished business. Next, double period of Biology. Marks for my Biology papers were so unexpected. Damn imba low. And this weird classmate of mine mocked my marks. WTH is his problem, man? I know I'm stupid lah, no need to say it to my face. -_- Screw him. Screw those papers. Emo x1000. I officially HATE them both. In the end, I couldn't hand in my Biology report because it's not done. Emo x100000. I officially HATE myself.

Took an hour before I reached home. Emo in front of the TV for an hour and watched Project Runway for another while my brother multitasked - he plays the computer and laptop at once. Suddenly, I had this urge to play MapleStory to cheer myself up. Seeing the mobs die makes me happy. :D OMG, sadist. I double-clicked the cute mushroom icon and the game started loading.

Nyehehe. *trollface*

Happiness at last. *cues heavenly music*

I waited and waited after clicking "Singapore" when finally...

.

.

.

Eh, what's this?

EMO x1000000000000000000000000000000.

I OFFICIALLY RATE THIS DAY THE WORST DAY OF MY ENTIRE LIFE.

Emo. Forever alone.

Yep, I went for the ISCF Rally last Saturday and it was THE BOMBZ! :D Other than that, I also went for the conference in the morning on how to accomplish a better CU/CF. It was good. Plus, I got to meet all my old friends there! Oh, how much I missed them! It was like a big family reunion (at least that's what I felt).

Su Li, Yinneh and Wee Kye. Love you guys TTM!

We were supposed to do something to show our identity of our school. So, we wore our school socks! WITH FLIP-FLOPS ON! LMAO, epic Japanese people! I don't own a pair of Kwang Hua socks 'cause I'm not a Kwang Hua-rian anymore (sad case) but thanks to Carissa for sacrificing hers. She had to wear Joshua's stinky pair. D:

Wee Kaaai. :P Awesome buddy from Convent.

HAHAHAHA.

When the conference ended at 5.30pm, I went to Su Li's house before the rally started. Lazy to go back home (very far away lah). We hung out in her study where she showed me her oh-so-many UK pictures. And we gossiped (I know it's a sin but we just can't help it D:) till no end. Fun!

Si hiaopo. HAHAHAHA.

TROLOLOLOL.

Nerds are loved. 8B

We're so pumped up for the rally!

OMG, SU LI'S FACE! PRICELESS, HAHAHAHA!

Glad you're back, Owlie. :3

Her dad belanja-ed me to roti canai (so damn freaking delicious whey!) for dinner. I felt so embarrassed. Must. Treat. Them. Next. Time. MUST. We went to GT again later at 7.30pm for the rally. It was the first time the rally wasn't held in Hin Hua (okay, second time) and I was so excited. Change is good, no?

Our ex Kwang Hua CU president, Kimberly! :D

EEEEEE, AIJEAN! Adorable!

My primary school insane friend, Joanna!

Jo and her sister, Bubbles aka Brenda. BIG EYES. O_O

Praise and worship started off on a techno beat. So 21st century-ish. Me likey. >:) Although there were many songs I didn't know how to sing, I still tried my best to keep up with the flow. After all, what matters the most is that we're worshiping the same God, right?

P&W team rocking the house down.

The crowd. WAS HUGE.

P&W leader, Kelly.

A short video came next (it was great) followed by this performance(?) thingie.

Lih Tyng, the director of the whole short performance thingie.

Supercalifragilistically awesome!

Then, the pastor came on stage. HE WAS INCREDIBLE! These were some stuff he shared about and they're damn funny!

"I wasn't a Christian at first. At the age of fourteen, my friend kept pestering me to go to church. I was so annoyed so I agreed to go. To me, a church reminds me of priests, candles, smoke and holy water. (WTH, HAHAHAHA.) After playing football that day, I put on a clean shirt before following my friend to church. Lazy to change my dirty shorts lah; full of mud. I went to his church and WHOA! I HAD A SHOCK OF MY LIFE! IT WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I SAW THAT MANY GIRLS! FORTY GIRLS! AND ALL OF THEM SHOOK MY HAND, AHHH! (He looked up to the heavens as if he was reminiscing the moment, LOL.) I didn't want to bathe for four weeks after that. THEY EVEN TOLD ME TO COME BACK AGAIN NEXT WEEK. (He acted as if he was melting. Or was he swooning...? IDK.) They are so much better than those party girls. 'Jerk!' 'Get lost, freak!' That's how they always scolded me. After the whole service, there was even FOOD served! At the time, the only two things that mattered to me were girls and food. (Typical guys.) My friend asked me whether I'd come back again next week and I asked, 'Is it the same every week?' He replied, 'Yea, but next week, we'll be watching a movie.' WOW, A MOVIE! I thought, Girls, food and a MOVIE? FOR ONLY 10 SENS?! WOW, I'LL SURELY RETURN! Yes, I gave 10 sens as an offering."

TROLOLOLOL. I WAS LAUGHING NON-STOP LIKE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SERVICE. ESPECIALLY AT THE 10 SENS PART, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. WTH, BUT IT MADE SO MUCH SENSE! (Sens, sense, gyahahaha. Pun not intended.)

Most hilarious pastor in the entire galaxy!

The thing that really touched me was when during alter call, many people went up to accept Jesus into their hearts as their Lord and Saviour. AMEN!

The rally was a blast. I had so much fun with my friends that I rarely see nowadays. But the best part was my encounter with God. It was 23623498652435102. Indescribable.

Machas all the way.

JOYCE! She switched to Tenby International when I switched to Sri KL.

And like everyone calls her, Princess Diana.

It was a great night with many great people that I love with all my life around me, but being in the presence of God was the best-est-est-est. Let's do it again next year! 8D
