"A person who talks too much has a short life because after he'd said what he wanted to say, he'll die soon because there's nothing much for him to talk about anymore." - Mr. Yap
I remember that being spat in my face by the teacher I'd hated the most. I hate to admit this but he is actually right. It seems like I've said everything I'd wanted to say and now I'm speechless. I'm struggling to blog nowadays because a) I'm lazy, b) I'm busy and c) I've got nothing to say. Gosh, I hate this.
Anyway, I didn't know I have so many stalkers! Almost everyday, someone I didn't expect will come up to me and say, "I read your blog." Which is a good thing actually, hahaha. So, after CU yesterday, Elliot asked me if I'd like to be the emcee for the IU Day event. "Why me?" I asked. Then he said, "Because I read your blog." Okay, there's another one. Well, I'm quite interested in being the emcee because it'll be quite fun and I love to yak. He said, "If you accept, you'll be accompanying Brittany. Both of you will be the emcees."
OMG! LOW BRITTANY?! Her English is, like, perfect! Flawless! Magnifique! Better than a Caucasian, no doubt! Suddenly, I start to think that my standards are not that high; I still say lah's, mah's and ah's, you know. Just then, Su Li walked past and I pointed to her, "She. Her English is quite okay." I called her over and Elliot asked her to introduce herself because he wanted to listen to her grammar and stuff. HAHAHAHA, you should see the look on Su Li's face! It's sooo freakin' funny! HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Ahem. Sorry, Su Li. Please don't kill me.
So, I was considering of taking up the role but I have to ask my parents first. My mum said it'll be a very good experience for me. 85% of me wants to say yes, 5% of me wants to say no because my English is not as fluent as Brittany's and another 10% of me wants to decline because...
I have to wear a skirt.
Oh. My. God.
