After tuition, my dad and I (yes, my DAD and I) went straight to the stadium. We reached there like 4.52 pm and thought we were very early, but shoot, so damn many cars clogged up the road! We went to join the super-friggin'-long line (actually, we cut queues =X) and was like, 100+ metres away from the entrance...? Hate those DiGi idiots who tore the tickets oh-so-slowly. *sulks* We had to wait for almost an hour before going into Car Park A (the venue). Shoot. There were millions of people squeezed together like a tin of sardines. Maybe even more packed than a tin. == Many people kept glancing at my dad, 'cause : .
.
- He's very tall
- He's not very young
- He's wearing a pink polo shirt
Then, there were some itchy fingers kept touching the feathers of a girl's red indian hat. It was Halloween and many were dressed as witches, wizards, clowns, angels, devils, etc. "F*** off my hat,"she said, and all the guys went, "Whoaaa..." The girl was mad and strutted out of the line(s), pulling her friend behind. Was friggin' pissed when we were near the entrance 'cause many brainless assholes kept pushing and pushing. I almost died 'cause my lungs got squashed and air could neither enter nor escape. Then, a bloke shouted, "DON'T PUSH!" and clenched his fists angrily. "F***ing pissed off," he whispered dangerously. Seems like a lot of people scold the F word in KL. *frowns*
Later, they tore our tickets and we went in, just like that. What happened to the "checking of bags" and "no cameras, video-taping and other video devices allowed" part? I was waving around my camera and they let me entered. Oh, well. It was only 5.37 pm but the middle area was packed. So, we aimed for the sides but unfortunately, many people kinda squeezed in. *glares*
We ended up at the left side and waited patiently. I was lucky. *evil grins* There were two kinda cute guys beside me. One was a Chinese and another was a concoction and had blonde hair. *jumps around happily*
Just then, a girl with her boyfriend sidled up to me. She sorta stood on my left side and brushed against my BCG scar. Which was bleeding at first. *laughs madly* She was surprised and thought : Why is my arm so itchy? And she looked at my hand and thought I had some kind of disease. HAHAHA. Serves her right for wanting to squeeze with me (and wearing such a transparent blouse). Her boyfriend just glared at me and I glanced at my dad. He followed my gaze and doubled. That little wuss went to another spot quickly with his transparent darling after seeing a giant towering over him. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
We thought we saw something upstage...
Soon (obviously, I'm lying), Ian and Natalie (the emcees) from Hitz.fm told us about downloading DiGi's unlimited music on IDK what playlist bla (no cellphone, remember?) and threw (literally) some gifts to the crowd. I didn't get any. Then, they dropped the bombshell. "It's Disagree, followed by Pop Shuvit, One Buck Short, then only...?" "AAR!!!!!!!!!!!!" crowd shouted and banged those yellow thingies. Whoa, three more bands before AAR. Gosh, my legs hurt!
The heavens broke open. We quickly wore our raincoats (it's yellow in colour) and looked like
What's next? More waiting. == As the blonde workers tuned the instruments to perfection, the emcees entertained us again. After that, they were still tuning. *frowns* It's already past an hour. Everyone started chanting, "AAR! AAR! AAR!" LOL. I was friggin' impatient and so were the crowd. People started booing for another half hour. Just then, the song Move Along started playing and I was stunned. Well, I thought it was the speakers replaying AAR's songs. Again. People started jumping around the out popped the AAR!
Move along, move along like I know you do!!!
Move Along!!!!!!!!
"I wanna tell you something dirty!" SEXIEST voice. xD
"Now, all of you say, "Dirty lil'..." SECRET!!!!!!!
Except for one part. A moron kept smoking and smoking and smoking. So inconsiderate. The place is already so hot and stuffy, and there that asshole was, smoking away without a care in the world. WTH. So we had to shift because nobody wants to get lung cancer, right? Hitched up behind a
My ears were kinda deaf and my legs were really sore so I requested to head home before the concert ended. I regretted very much for doing so because I missed my favourite song - Gives You Hell. Sure wanna give myself hell. *rolls eyes*
By the way, you could check out the news about AAR in The Star newspaper (Tuesday, 3rd of November, 2009). It's in the Star Two section, page T21, titled Feverish Pitch. And, of course, I plan to laminate that page. Anyway, the concert was a blast but It Ends Tonight... TT___TT I Wanna, I Wanna... go again next time!!!!!!! x3 Oh, and thanks Sim, for giving me those tickets. =D
