After the Mandarin paper, I walked to the canteen. Alone (aww...nah, I don't mind). I felt around in my pocket to make sure my camera* was there. As I was going up the stairs from the bookshop to the activity centre, I spotted Hui Ching, Co Ra and Zhe Ying. I took out my camera and showed them some pictures (I don't know what either!). We were laughing so much and didn't realise there was someone behind us. Whoa, Miss Lim Yeow Lee. I heard her say, "Hey, isn't that a camera?" behind my back (my friends didn't hear 'cause Miss Lim had said it really soft, like talking to herself). I quickly told my friends, "Guys, it's high time we started revising for our next paper." Then, we hurried off to the canteen together, leaving Miss Lim behind (I think she chased me).
At the canteen, I was really afraid. This is not my camera. If it was confiscated, my parents will kill me! I thought. I paced around in the canteen, wondering what to do about it. Put it in the classroom? No, it will get stolen. Place it in my schoolbag? Nah, they'll probably search there too. What to do, what to do. I went to buy some economy rice since I was starving. When I was gonna pay for it ---
WTH?!! MADAM CHAN HUI SIANG?!!!! WHAT'S SHE DOING DOWN HERE?!!!
She received my money and handed the change back to me. I was shocked out of my life! She had a headkerchief tied around her head like a milk lady, an apron tied around her waist like a cook. Man, she looks like a hawker lady! After pushing my jaw back into place, I took back the change and rushed off to find my cutlery. I took a sharp turn to the cutlery basket and ---
WHAM!!!
Ouch, that hurt! "Sorry, I didn't mean to ---" Holy crap! When I looked up to see who bumped into me, I was face to face with Madam Tan Bee Yan who was rubbing her forehead. A second time, my jaw can't control itself and dropped miles away. Madam Tan was, was, she was dressed as a cleaner!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What is happening to our school?!! Then, Madam Tan trotted over with a broom in her hand to have a little chat with Madam Chan when suddenly, Miss Lim appeared from nowhere. They chatted and gossiped happily. Just then, Miss Lim turned her head and she saw me. Oh God, oh God, oh God! She recognizes me! "Hey, you. Did you bring a camera to school?" What should I say? Yes? That'll be utterly stupid. "No." She eyed me carefully. "Just now, I saw a girl who was around your height holding out a camera and showing it to her friends. You sure it wasn't you?" I trembled with fear. "N-no." She gave me a last glare and continued chatting with her friends, like nothing actually happened. I quickly zoomed off, of course! Phew, close one!
After recess, I went back to class. But to my horror, our school assistant headmaster, Madam Low Bee Hon, was there. Classes 2A and 2B (my class) were lining-up outside. I walked over to my class and asked Co Ra, "What's going on?" And she replied with silence as she was so engaged with her book. Don't tell me it's a spot check?! My heart stopped beating immediately. Once again:
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was praying so hard when classes 1A and 1B came up the stairs that was leading to our classes. What the heck are they doing here? Then, Madam Low spoke, "Today, classes 1A and 1B will be switching classes with classes 2A and 2B. Just today. Class 1A will be switching classes with Class 2B and Class 1B will be switching classes with Class 2A. Is that clear?" No. Everyone nodded but none of them understood what she meant. Oh, well. Thank God she wasn't going to have a spot check.

Later, after transfering classes, I still remained in my own class (it means I was having lessons with Class 1A and I don't know why). I also don't know why Madam Low was teaching them as we were suppose to have our examinations. Then, she asked me, "Are you a student from Class 1A?" I shook my head. "Why are you sitting at the back there, then?" I shrugged. "Nevermind. Okay, class..." She started teaching Mathematics (LOL...?). She wrote some questions on the whiteboard and called me to go out and finish them. I went to the front and picked up the chalk. Damn, this sun is killing me. "What are you waiting for? Go on!" Madam Low pressured me. I had to squint while scribbling the answers down as the sun was burning my corneas and piercing into my eye lenses. At a certain point, I just couldn't stand it anymore. I was almost blind when ---
Hey, isn't this my room? And the lights were all switched on!
I think I forgot to switch off the lights last night. Anyway, I'm really glad it was a dream. Phew!
Weird dream, huh?
