Actually, I blogged a really long post about my mum yesterday on the iPad. A very angry one. I planned to finish it up on the computer but when I tried finding the draft today, it's gone. I am quite upset because I blogged three hours for that post (really, I had so much to rant about her and ALL about her only -_-) but at the same time, I'm quite relieved that I didn't get to publish that because when you're mad, you can't think straight and tend to blurt out the first thing that comes to mind. And since I was so freaking angry yesterday, I have to admit I'd blogged a very bitter post. Now, I've calmed down and my mind's working again, I thank God I didn't post it. (But if I check the Blogger app on the iPad again and it's still there, I might post it but only if I'm mad and need to vent. LOL.)

Mum aside, I've been watching so many movies lately when I should be studying. Sneakily. Whoa.

HAHAHAHA. No.

Yea, my exams aren't over yet, what a bore. I have four more papers (three of them are MCQ papers) in THREE days but they drag on for TWO weeks. Stupid. I don't care, I'm going for a movie with my classmates after my Physics paper on Thursday, heh. I NEED A BREAK, AHHH. I'm not stressed because of the exams, I'm just annoyed because it's so draggy. I feel like a lifeless zombie because I'm lazing around doing nothing because you can't study MCQ papers and yet I can't do something because I feel guilty. After all, it IS still exams period. Must be a good girl, heh. (On second thought, I am ALWAYS a relatively good girl, WTH. I feel a sudden verge to rant about me being a good girl now. -_- No, Ru Min. Anger management.)

I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button that day. The main character (Benjamin lah) looked so familiar and my mind kept telling me it's Ryan Gosling, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Gosling. And it turned out Benjamin was played by Brad Pitt. WHAT THE HECK, BRAIN?! Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt are totally different people! I don't even know why my brain told me Benjamin's acted by Ryan Gosling.

They're so different! Something's wrong with me. -_-

Anyway, I feel like posting pictures from the movie (because I like lah) but before that, I wanna say Cate Blanchett is such a gorgeous lady. She acted as Daisy in the movie. And to think that she learnt all the ballet steps JUST for the movie (she's not a dancer in real life), that's pretty wicked. :) She was so good, her pirouttes and attitudes were splendid and her steps were so graceful. Respect whey. Even after learning for seven years, I am still a potato. HAHA.

She looks so elegant even when she's serious. :)

Here are some of the scenes that spoke to me so I took screenshots of them. Have been doing that a lot lately. Taking screenshots of movies, I mean. I watch them on the iPad so it's easier, haha.

Benjamin's growing younger each passing day.

Daisy, Benjamin's childhood friend.

Daisy's dancing career. I love all these! :D

This part really hit me hard. It was when Daisy's leg got crushed in an accident and she couldn't dance again. Here, let me quote the movie :

"Sometimes we're on a collision course, and we just don't know it. Whether it's by accident or by design, there's not a thing we can do about it. A woman in Paris was on her way to go shopping, but she had forgotten her coat - went back to get it. When she had gotten her coat, the phone had rung, so she'd stopped to answer it; talked for a couple of minutes. While the woman was on the phone, Daisy was rehearsing for a performance at the Paris Opera House. And while she was rehearsing, the woman, off the phone now, had gone outside to get a taxi. Now a taxi driver had dropped off a fare earlier and had stopped to get a cup of coffee. And all the while, Daisy was rehearsing. And this cab driver, who dropped off the earlier fare; who'd stopped to get the cup of coffee, had picked up the lady who was going to shopping, and had missed getting an earlier cab. The taxi had to stop for a man crossing the street, who had left for work five minutes later than he normally did, because he forgot to set off his alarm. While that man, late for work, was crossing the street, Daisy had finished rehearsing, and was taking a shower. And while Daisy was showering, the taxi was waiting outside a boutique for the woman to pick up a package, which hadn't been wrapped yet, because the girl who was supposed to wrap it had broken up with her boyfriend the night before, and forgot. When the package was wrapped, the woman, who was back in the cab, was blocked by a delivery truck, all the while Daisy was getting dressed. The delivery truck pulled away and the taxi was able to move, while Daisy, the last to be dressed, waited for one of her friends, who had broken a shoelace. While the taxi was stopped, waiting for a traffic light, Daisy and her friend came out the back of the theater. And if only one thing had happened differently: if that shoelace hadn't broken; or that delivery truck had moved moments earlier; or that package had been wrapped and ready, because the girl hadn't broken up with her boyfriend; or that man had set his alarm and got up five minutes earlier; or that taxi driver hadn't stopped for a cup of coffee; or that woman had remembered her coat, and got into an earlier cab, Daisy and her friend would've crossed the street, and the taxi would've driven by. But life being what it is - a series of intersecting lives and incidents, out of anyone's control - that taxi did not go by, and that driver was momentarily distracted, and that taxi hit Daisy, and her leg was crushed."

I almost cried at that scene (and for me to ALMOST cry, it's a freaking depressing thing because I'm normally quite emotionless, LOL). No matter how upsetting that part was, it's my favourite scene because it made the most sense to me. Sometimes we're on a collision course, and we just don't know it. So true.

When their ages finally meet up in the middle, they got together. How lovely.

And they had a daughter named Caroline. But Benjamin's getting younger and younger everyday so he cannot afford to take care of Daisy and Caroline. After some heated arguments, they decided to find a new father for Caroline. It was for the best. :(

Benjamin had dimentia when he became a young boy and couldn't remember anything. Damn sad!

Overall, it's a pretty good movie. If you haven't watched it yet, you should! So many good moral to learn from there; my dad actually asked us to watch it, LOL. On a side note, mum said I'd get stomach cancer if I keep studying like this :

I always study like this, BTW. Is it weird? ._.

She said I'd get stomach cancer like that because all my intestines are scrunched up together inside. WAT. R U SRS. And dad said I'd get spine problems which lead to osteoporosis before I even reach old age. Don't know whether they're scaring me or it's true. But I like to sit like that when I study, it's so comfortable! LOL.

Grr, mum just told me to study for my Mandarin paper for SPM. NO. I REFUSE TO TAKE THE MANDARIN PAPER. I don't think I can even get a credit. I got less than 40 marks for my trials paper because my essay went out of topic, ermahgerd. Feeling so sorry for myself now, lulz.
