As promised in my previous post, I'd blog about braids. It seems that braids are trending right now among every girl regardless of their hair length - if they have short hair, they can always tie a mini braid. Fishtail, waterfall, rope, French, Grecian, Dutch, English... I simply can't name every single one of them because there are just too many!

Actually, I didn't know how to braid my hair when I was younger, LOL. I had super short hair before I took up ballet and people called me "Helmet Head", especially my brother. Anyway, I always watched my grandma braid my sister's hair - French, double French, English, etc. I begged her to braid my hair but for some unknown reasons, she didn't want to, which was kinda annoying and unfair in a way.

I did. And I succeeded. French was a bit of a challenge for me at first, but then it ended up being the easiest braid I'd ever tie, really. Dutch-French is even harder, I tell ya. If you didn't know, my hair now is like... Niagara Falls but ebony black in colour. Not really Rapunzel's - hers is really long and blonde. So nice, I want, haha. The braids you'll be seeing later was done like a long time ago in February around CNY period. Too busy to upload them that time. Anyway, be prepared. Some pictures are fairly vain. FAIRLY. Oh, the colours have also been edited using my sister's iPod Touch so that you can see the details of the braid (LOL, sounds so serious). And to all guys, seriously, you can skip this post if you want.

Now, the first one is actually French but the sides of the braid are really fine, not in thick bunches. IDK how to explain lah. This braid is specially for Amanda. She wanted to see the difference between this braid and a normal French braid.

Not really neat, though. Sorry!

As you can see, the sides are taken in thin bunches, not thick.

A clearer view! :)

Okay, the next one is also a French braid but at the side. Easy peasy. :)

I tied this when I was in my cousins' house during CNY. It's actually the side French braid but only more refined and on a different side of my head. :B

I've just learnt the next braid recently when I watched a video on MAINE'S BLOG. It's called a rope braid. I think it's awesome and so easy to tie! You guys girls should really learn this braid!

On a side note, I've just checked out Maine's blog again. She's also been doing some braiding herself but on someone else's head! :D
OMAGAD. Check out THIS post of hers. Her waterfall braids look so awesome! I haven't mastered that art yet, LOL. Mine always ends up being messy, darn.

Anyway, back to roping.

Double mini rope braids as a hair band! So simple and chic, I likeee.

With the rest of hair in a ponytail. Wanted to go to school like this but too lazy to braid, LOL.

See? It's easy!

Double ropes! :D

What? Expecting for more? NNNNNO. I tied a fishtail one day but I was too lazy to take a picture of it. Sister went back to Land of Oz = NO MORE IPOD TOUCH TO TAKE MAH BRAIDS. :( Fishtails are really tedious, BTW. That's all with my braids. Shall master waterfall first then blog another time, haha. Oh, if one fine day, I decide to die my hair some shade of turquoise/teal, the first hairdo I'd try is this :

IKR. IT'S SO ADORABLE! :3

THIS! I shall torture my sister with this hairstyle once she gets back home. Beware! >:)

Alright, enough of this obsession or else all my guy friends will start hating me now, LMAO. Before I leave, today is Owlie's birthday. AND I WAS THE FIRST TO WISH HER. SEVEN MINUTES BEFORE 12AM. REMEMBER THAT, YOU OWL. Happy sweet sixteen again for the third time. :D Lazy to type a long wish for you lah, dumb dumb; I bet you're checking out your booming notifications on Facebook rather than my blog, right? Don't 假假, LOL. A year older, a year wiser. So, be wise and whatever you do, trust God! Never lose faith in Him.

Lots of love, my pretty. As always. ♥

No need to cry lah, okay? I'm equally touched by my own words. :') HAHAHAHA.
