I had the whole process of us baking from the start but my SD card died and only some pictures survived. Around 300+ pictures disappeared; I'm very upset right now. I can only show you what happened after the batches entered the oven. Sigh, better than nothing at all. :(

After all of them were baked, we paired them together according to their size to form the top and bottom of the macaron.

So, yea. We officially failed. I mean, they don't look so bad lah but they're far from the real ones. My sister then went to a baking course and learnt how to bake macarons for realz. Like, FINALLY, someone in the family is enlightened, omagad.
Now, here are her VERY OWN macarons... DRUM ROLL, PLEASE!

I think I explained about the texture of a macaron in my previous macaron post (HERE) but I failed at it so here's what the insides of a macaron look like. A picture speaks a thousand words, true story.
Okay, enough about macarons. That day, my sister also learnt how to bake. A cake. A freaking cake. A freaking cake fit to be in front of a birthday kid.

We refused to eat the cake as it was so pretty but my sister just said, "Aiya, eat lah, eat lah!" LOL. With her permission, we dug in and devoured everything.
Hey, wipe off that drool from your mouth, it's disgusting. Hahaha, just kidding (or am I?). We've come to an end of another awesome post of mine and I bet you're very sad. Aww, don't cry, I'll blog again next time. :P So, I guess we succeeded in baking (or my sister did) after all the agony and pain we went through? :D Victory is ours!

On a side note, I hope my blog doesn't turn into a food blog because that will really contribute a lot to my body weight. D:
Now, I'm worried. Gahhh.
