WARNING : Freaking wordy but damn interesting post ahead (not guaranteed D:).
Let's start from two Saturdays ago, shall we? ;) So, there was this laser lights performance in the park near my house and I was looking forward to watching it (since it's free - what?). Before going, our new neighbours invited us over to welcome us into the neighbourhood. Many people around my neighbourhood went, including the evil neighbours who wanna get rid of Snoopy (that's another story).
HAHAHAHA, someone's flip-flops. xDAs it was still CNY, fireworks were going off every few seconds until I got tired of snapping photos of them. *rolls eyes*
My sister and her friend went to watch the laser lights performance first while we hung around in our neighbour's house. Later, my distant cousins came and it took us some time before we could "get them off our hands" (no hard feelings, cousins). :X Finally, when we were walking to the park, we saw many people walking towards us. WTH, then only did we know the laser lights performance was over. Pwned! D:

My brother looks like he's advertising some countryside area, ROFL.After that, my parents went to visit a friend of theirs near our house and boy, was their house ginormous! :O They had over a hundred guests flooding their house, munching food and drinking beer, walking up and down the stairs, in and out of every room, touching and fiddling with everything they see, exploring the whole house. Yes, exploring. I got lost in there. -_-

Next, two Sundays ago. My PRINCESS (ahem, Ccy F3) Diana came over! :D
We had so much fun talking and talking and talking and... talking. LMAO. Okay, we did watch a movie called 27 Dresses on my sister's laptop. x) Every time we talk, one of us will interrupt the other and the topic will change into something else entirely. That's why we couldn't get to finish our stories we were telling to each other. HAHAHAHA. Oh, and Diana wore my shorts and forgot to give them back. Oh, NVM, she returned it back to me on the coming Friday. :)

Last Monday, was a MIRACLE. It was the FIRST time ever in my entire SIXTEEN (alright, FIFTEEN PLUS) years of life that my parents EVER let me hung out with my buds. I seriously thank my sister for saying good things about me to my mum, making her allow me to go. :D It was the gathering of 6Y Class (2007), my primary gathering, and I got to meet all my old friends! :D Those awesome people who went were Tricia, Jie Jing, Ying Ying, Wei Hau, Jia Yuen, Yang Shen, Jia Jian, Jin Jack and of course, MOI! *flips hair*
We watched a movie titled I Love Hong Kong and gosh, it was HILARIOUS! At first, I didn't wanna watch it as I don't understand a single word in Cantonese but everyone except me wanted to watch it so badly, so I had to go with the flow. Be a good sport lah, right? x) I had a really hard time averting my eyes from the subtitles to the actors and actresses on screen constantly and vice versa just to understand the plot, but in the end, it was I who laughed the loudest and shook the entire cinema... *speechless*
After that, we went around searching for food. Every restaurant was packed with hungry

Although we'd only spent a short time together, I was so glad I could finally meet my old friends again.

Alright, moving on. Few people from our church visited us last Tuesday which was a holiday.
I wore a sliver of my hair in a braid that day. :3Su Mei and Su Ling came, too! :D We chatted for a while and then we played Wii. Super Mario Kart, FTW! 8D Jil Ee had also invited me over to her house and I begged my mum to let me go. I was so excited to see her! She had invited quite a number of her old classmates and Convent friends over, too. Everyone was gambling like nobody's business except for Yen Shan and I. We are good girls; we don’t gamble. (A) Wen Shin didn't gamble, too, because she'd ran out of cash. HAHAHAHA. We gossiped to the max with each other and kept laughing like hyenas until everyone was looking at us. It was SO fun! 8D Minus the people looking at us part, I mean.
Later only did I realise that it was the gathering of 6T Class (2007) aka their primary gathering! :O I was the intruder, the one from 6Y, and indirectly, I was betraying my own clan, WTH. They were very nice and didn't mind, though. It felt so awkward being the odd one out there. D: Jil Ee's mum then fetched the whole lot of us to Hwai Kian's house and my, my, another rich family! Sadly, Wen Shin couldn't go 'cause she had to finish up her homework. Sigh, private school sucks. :( They started gambling again and Jil Ee used Thaddeus' Canon EOS 60D to take awesome pictures 'cause his DSLR is so much better than her Canon EOS 550D which is so tuut, GYAHAHAHAHA.
Eh, Jil Ee, your photography skills have improved ah! I'm impressed! :P
Later, Yen Shan and I sat on a bench in Hwai Kian's house, singing songs so freaking loud like drunken loonies. Believe me, it felt great! ;D She kept singing one of Taylor Swift's songs while I sang Vanilla Twilight. I still can't get that song outta my head as it reminds me of... somebody. >:) I had an incredible time during the 6T gathering, but I don't think I will ever get to go again. :/
Okay, nothing much happened last Wednesday. Ah, another boring school day. But, wait! Thursday! A new student had joined us by being a Sigma-rian. From what I've heard, he'd just migrated from Indonesia to Malaysia with his family three days before then and I was so amazed he could settle in so quickly. If it were me, I'd still be bawling in my new home and not wanting to go to my new school.
Wait, I did that two months ago before I actually treaded on Sri KL ground. Riiight.
Last Friday was Major Breakdown Day. That day was the turning point of my life. I cried. Yea, cried. Not those few-drops-of-tears-streaming-down-cheeks cried, I mean as in SERIOUSLY cried. Ong Ru Min doesn’t cry, NEVER cries. Until then. Finally, my sixteen (FINE, fifteen plus, sheesh) years of sorrow had finally gave way and flooded the entire world. It all started with Kaveeta accidentally bringing my Business Studies textbook home whereas I brought her Maths textbook home. I had to hand in my Business Studies project due Monday but without my textbook, HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO FINISH MY PROJECT?!! I told my mum about it (wrong move, Ru Min, wrong move *shakes head*) and she just said, "Alright, let's go to her house and get it back."
Everything was fine until my brother butted in and asked whether he could go to his friend's house in PJ on Saturday. My mum had agreed to let me attend Denise's awesome poolside party a few weeks ago but suddenly, the tables had turned. My mum was so frustrated (IDK why) she kept scolding me, saying I was lying to her indirectly, leaving out important details about the date and the venue of the party. WTH, I swear I told her everything but she forgot! >:( And she'd also said she'd never agreed on letting me go to the party and I was like, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!" She said I didn't give her enough time to consider as I'd informed her about the party at the last minute. What the crap? I told her about it, like, CENTURIES ago, WTH!
Long story short, I was so stressed out about the Business Studies project and about the party. Aiya, about EVERYTHING lah! And that's when the major breakdown happened. I felt like everything I'd ever worked for had just gone to the dogs. It was DAMN unfair that my brother got to go to his friend's house in PJ although he'd only informed her A DAY before the event and yet I wasn't allowed to attend Denise's party although I had informed my mum AGES ago. *clenches fists* I was DAMN furious and upset, I couldn't control myself and posted mean things about my mum on my Wall in Facebook. SHE DESERVED EVERY SINGLE MEAN COMMENT BECAUSE SHE GROUNDED ME WITHOUT A SOLID REASON AND CLAIMED THAT SHE’D NEVER AGREED ON BUYING ME A DSLR, WTH!
Thank God I had PROOF! >:/Going through that rough patch, I've come to realise that I have so many supportive friends. They consoled me no matter what and
I laughed when I saw this. Diana gave it to me. She said it reminds her of me 'cause I'm always smiling like this with my eyes in two slits and teeth shown. HAHAHAHA, so true. :]The next day (last Saturday), my mum (the evil one) came into my room early in the morning just to remind me again that I wasn’t allowed to go to the party. I wasn’t even awake and yet she was firing missiles at me, nonetheless?!! WTH, I was so mad I called her a B and won myself a tight slap. It stung my left cheek, FML. Wake up call, much? == At last, I’ve accepted the fact that I was grounded and was not allowed to go anywhere for the rest of the year other than my room. I rushed to finish up my Business Studies project to find out that it was due Wednesday. WHAT THE HECK?!! ARGHHHHH!!!!!!! >8O Night came and I sulked as I couldn’t go to the party. I sulked and gave my mum the cold shoulder. She was the reason why I was rotting at home instead of having fun in Denise’s party. >:(
BUT GUESS WHAT? There was a turn of events and I believe God has planned it! :D THAT NIGHT, MY DAD GOT ME MY OWN DSLR!

I’D NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME!!! 8D 8D 8D Canon EOS 60D, welcome to the Ong family. :P I’ll treat you well like my flesh and blood and don’t you worry, if anyone ever sets a stinky sausage finger on you without my permission, I’d chop their hand off right away and feed it to Snoopy. You are safe with me as long as you accept your duty to capture magnificent pictures with your ultra awesome zoom lens! :D “That stupid box that captures light costs more than my Xbox, Wii, PlayStation and GameBoy added together, WTH!!!” my brother shrieked. HAHAHAHA, TOO BAD. You’ve gotten your fair share, so shuddup now. (Y)
Well, pretty much nothing happened on Sunday except for the fact that my house went “POOF!” without electricity so, mum decided to go back to our old house. Ah, that musty smell filled with memories! *takes a deep breath* Just as I logged on to Facebook in my old house (the internet connection there is S-U-P-E-R-B!), Yow Wei told me that the electricity came back on in my new housing area again. WTH, wrong timing lah whey!
Then, it was Monday. MONDAY, 21ST OF FEBRUARY, 2011!!! 8D It was a day to be embedded into my brain as it was the happiest day in my entire life since the “great migration” to Sri KL. I WENT BACK TO KWANG HUA!!! Taking my first step into Kwang Hua ground after two months, the steep road to the school; the food in the canteen; the smell of the toilets (ahh...); the extra grumpy school teachers; the ah lians with super straight fringes; the lala boys with rooster heads; old crushes (whoops! :X); BLUE PINAFORES(!!!); the kiasu vibe; people speaking in MANDARIN(!!!); the PMR and SPM countdown board... Ahhh, feels like home. :’) Not a soul knew I was going back to Kwang Hua (well, Chai Hui was smart enough to find out by herself ;]) and it felt good to see their surprised expressions. I MISS ALL MY FRIENDS! About a gazillion awesome Kwang Hua-rians hugged me, some strong, some weak; some sincere, some reluctant. It was the best day in my life! I’d never thought ANYONE will ever wanna hug me, LMAO.
I went back to get my outstanding awards. It sounds like something big but actually, it’s nothing lah. I just want my money! $_$ Highest for English, 6A’s (so few) for PMR trials and an A for Mandarin in PMR – I earned a total amount of RM90! 8D... Instantly filled my pocket! Some of my friends were so funny. They thought I'd transferred BACK to Kwang Hua since I was wearing my old school uniform. Oh, how I wish that could happen! :S I chatted non-stop with my old friends while the VIPs were babbling on stage. Haha, talk about rude! x) I was so glad and excited to see my friends again, but I’m quite sad that I didn’t get to see Su Li and Co Ra. :( Damn, I miss them so much!
When the emcees called out my name, people were so shocked to see Ong Ru Min again, walking across the stage and accepting her prize. HAHAHAHA, it was a funny sight to see! xD After that, there was a photo session. I almost cried when I thought it was the last time I’ll ever get to wear a blue pinafore(!!!) and walk around on Kwang Hua school grounds. It was also the last picture I’d ever take with my crazy but awesome Kwang Hua friends. Straightening myself up, I smiled the best I could to give my last best shot for this year’s yearbook. 8) My day to be remembered ended with a hug from Ccy. It was very upsetting as I didn’t get the chance to really talk to her but I was happy when I saw her with braces. :D

Before returning to Sri KL (there was a Chemistry quiz later, I just HAD to go back), I changed into my Sri KL school uniform and damn, people were looking at me like I was an alien! NEVER SEE ME BEFORE AH? Kanasai. When I went into the headmaster’s office to get my one certificate for quitting school thingie (IDK why they even have that, don’t ask me), I saw Baby Zhang Zhang (Yan Hang) there and his eyes flew wide open when he saw me. “Ru Min, w-what’s this?” he asked, scanning my Sri KL school uniform. “What’s what?” I asked back, confused. “Where are you going?” he asked again. “Um, school? LOL.” I replied (yea, I actually said LOL). “W-What...?” he looked so confused, staring at me as if the answers he was looking for were scrawled all over my face.
Then, It finally hit me. BABY ZHANG ZHANG DIDN’T KNOW I HAD “MIGRATED”, OMG! “OMG, you didn’t know I'd switched schools? I thought the whole school knew!” I exclaimed. “N-no, I didn’t! Since when?!” he asked. “Since January 3rd this year...?” I replied. “Wow, it’s already been TWO months! Sorry, I didn’t know! Seriously, I didn’t know! Sorry!” he babbled. “Oh, that’s okay, that’s okay. Relax.” I smiled. Whoa, I didn’t know some of my CLOSEST friends had no idea of my whereabouts! Baby Zhang Zhang thought I was still in Kwang Hua all this while! :O Speaking of which, take a look at this :

Another boring Tuesday; no interesting events took place. :/ Wednesday... I didn’t want that particular Wednesday to come because MY SISTER WAS GOING BACK TO AUSTRALIA ON THAT DAY! x’(
Who’s gonna hug and console me when I’m sad? Who’s gonna teach me how to write my stupid Chemistry abstracts and Biology stuff? Who’s gonna solve all my Maths or/and Add Maths problems? Who’s gonna bake chocolate marshmallow cakes and muffins for me? Who’s gonna walk Snoopy with me in the park? Who’s gonna sleep with me every night?
NOOO, SHE’S GONE! RU XUAN WENT BACK AND WILL NOT BE COMING BACK FOR… I DON’T KNOW HOW MANY YEARS!!! :’O Feeling so lonely right now. No one to talk to at home (don’t remind me about my brother; I don’t like talking to him >:/). I miss you so much, Lucy buddy. x(
Thursday was the worst! Chemistry quiz, epic phail. I studied the wrong chapter, FML. >:( And I almost cried in school (walao, why am I so emotional lately? ==) as I didn’t finish my Maths quiz! Wait, scratch that. I DID finish, but as my stupid brain wasn’t functioning well, I FORGOT to do THREE questions. Damn, I’m gonna get low marks again! I am officially saying, “I’M BREAKING UP WITH YOU, MATHS! ADD MATHS TREATS ME WAY BETTER THAN YOU!” I was so sad and disappointed. Thank God for Mun Yeed, Amanda, Wei Yin, Kaveeta, Wai Leng, Sharmila and Jia-Yun. They cheered me up and made me feel better – especially Mun Yeed with her cute Mandarin slang! HAHAHAHA. xD As I’d brought my DSLR to school (some SMART person told me we were having co-curricular activities and the oh-so-smart me had actually believed what he'd said and brought my DSLR to school -_-), I’d managed to take some AWESOME pictures!
It was fun seeing my friends camwhore, HAHAHAHA.
We had also played a prank on Amanda by sticking post-its behind her back with the words : Call me babe! Later, everyone in class went wild and purposely stuck notes behind their backs! HAHAHAHA, it was so funny! How Han's back got the most notes as he was sleeping and everyone took advantage of him! His back was like a biological noticeboard, HAHAHAHA!
Xin Jie's failed attempt to paste this behind my back. They think I'm a perfectionist, WTH.Yesterday aka Friday. I didn’t study for my Physics quiz and I was so nervous. In the end, teacher said it was a take-home quiz. What the heck? Some of my brain cells were so pressured and had just died for nothing! >:/ And then later I thought we were having a Biology quiz, but guess what? Yes, you’re right, NO QUIZ. ==
Cramming for Biology quiz late at night, FML.Revised diffusion and osmosis just for nothing. Again. A few more brain cells were sacrificed. -_- Everyone acted innocent and said, “WE WERE HAVING A QUIZ?!! TEACHER, YOU DIDN’T INFORM US!!!” when my Biology teacher asked us about it. HAHAHAHA, we’re such remarkable actors and actresses, no? ;)
Later, when I went to A1 Tuition for BM, the first person I saw when I walked through the door of the room... was Shwu Mei (she was sitting in my place, that's why xD)! :D The day before was her birthday and I Walled her on Facebook that I couldn't hug her like I did on Monday (during the prize-giving ceremony). But she was there and we hugged each other! We held on to each other for so long, people were looking at us, BUT WHO CARES! As long as we're happy. :D Shwu Mei, I'm gonna miss you! :'J
Well, that brings my post to a blissful end. 8) FINALLY, I'M DONE! :D I had actually typed this whole thang in Microsoft Word before posting it up as it took me TWO WHOLE DAYS to finish this freaking long post, not forgetting to mention that my internet connection was so damn lag. *grumbles* If you've read till here, I'm proud to say you're a VERY patient person! 8D Congratulations and well done!
