I was touched by God in META Camp. When Pastor Rudy was praying for me, I had an encounter with God and felt his presence. It felt something like water is gushing around inside you but at the same time there's wind moving around in your body. That's the Holy Spirit, Amen?
So, I was appointed the assistant group leader of my group and sad to say I'd done a very bad job. Hahahaha, sorry people! We had to think up a name for our group according to the colour we received and we got pink. Guess what? Our group name is Pink Panther. Hahahaha, I know it's lame but NEVERMIND. I like it. >=]
Oh, we sure did.
Anyway, most of the campers are La Salle-ians (it was their CF camp!) and the rest are a mixture of students from different schools like ACS, MGS, Convent, Sri Acmar, Sri Andalas, Batu Unjur, Chung Hwa, STAR and of course, the wonderful, fantastic and awesomest school of all - KWANG HUA! HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I loved the P&W team! They sang the songs of heaven and played God's melody incredibly. They were the one who empowered the camp with the wonderful P&W and I really thank God that He had blessed them the gift to lead us in P&W to praise Him. I remember the first night when I was standing still and praising God while the people around me were jumping like mad when suddenly Bryan Ong aka the P&W leader kept prompting, "Ong Ru Min, JUMP lah!" I was so shocked but I didn't start jumping immediately. I didn't jump at all throughout the whole camp. LOL. Sorry! I'm just not used to it.
I met so many people there and made so many friends. They are really one bunch of awesome people! Su Li, Yin Whei and Qiu Wei came, too! I'm very glad Yin Whei accepted God into her life. I am seriously very ecstatic that many got saved by God as they'd felt God's presence and were touched by Him. Somebody say Amen? =)
Oh, and Pastor Rudy! He'd shared with us about God and the miracles He'd done and prayed for thousands of youth. He's a humorous person who told us about his experiences about saving people who were demon-possessed and raising the dead. He also shared about repentance and be sorry for what you've done. We should also have faith in God and roar back twice as loud when the devil roars at us just like when David had challenged Goliath to a fight. Gosh, he is such a cool pastor! Fantastic!
Lastly, I'd like to thank God for the group members he'd gave me. All of them were very sporting and cooperative. And thank God I had such a great leader, Daniel Padman (which everyone calls him Pacman xD), who's a funny and responsible person. He'd lead all the devotions without any complaints although we were supposed to take turns. I feel so irresponsible. -_-'''
Anyway, I just wanna give thanks to God that He had changed me into someone totally different as of before the camp. Of course, they're just minute changes but I'm not the same person that you grew to know and love (so perasan). Praise the Lord! And to those (like Jil Ee and Wei Ling) who didn't go, tsktsktsktsktsk. You have every right to regret not going to META Camp. *evil laughs*
