Based on the novel Roo's, I've learnt many lessons there.
In the novel, Coconut shouldn't have called Roo a big mouth because she had told her what the examination question was. After Coconut told her to study the moral values from the novel The Phantom of the Opera, she said, "Your big mouth will go around telling everyone." as she walked into the classroom. Then, she popped out and shouted, "You should be grateful that I've told you the question!" Actually, it wasn't Coconut who told Roo the question. It was Ting Tong Tiang.
Roo was very pissed. She told Cow, "Who has the bigger mouth? She does! Last year, Ting Tong Tiang and I told our entire class that we were going to Korea. Coconut went around telling everyone - yes, everyone, including the teacher - that we were leaving in June. Small mouth, huh? And am I that "friendly" to go around telling everyone the examination question?!!" Can't Coconut see that Roo's as kiasu as her? Maybe even more. Class 2A students can score well, but what's the point if they've lost all their common sense? she thought. And don't they defend themselves that Class 2B students are just jealous of their intelligence. Yeah, right.
After getting some unnecessary scolding, Roo chosed not to study the moral values. Hah! I'm gonna prove to Coconut that I can get good grades without cheating. And I'm 101% sure it isn't moral values. Those 2A**** are very cunning, she smirked. Then, when the papers came, guess what? The question was to write the lessons learnt from the novel. That's what Roo had studied! She rubbed her hands together with glee and proud not to get fooled by that evil fruit.
The next day, Roo went to find Coconut before lessons started. She told Coconut that it wasn't moral values, it was lessons learnt. Coconut said, "It's the same." "Oh, really? As alike as day and night." Roo grinned triumphantly and strutted away.
In a nutshell, the novel Roo's have taught me that one should think before bitchin' and one should admit it if one has sinned.
