We walked around like lost souls, not knowing where to go. I didn't have any idea whether the whole ceremony had started or not. Suddenly, guess who I saw? Matthias and Ting En, not forgetting her little sister! 8D I was like so LOL-ed out (unexplainable feeling lah) when I saw them; I didn't expect to see them. We chatted briefly and once again, Caryn and I roamed around aimlessly. We finally went into the hall where all the graduates and their parents sat. We were ushered to the second row from the front and boy, the view was fantastic!
If you don't understand Mandarin, that means VIP. Yes, we were THAT important.The VIPs were presenting their speeches and as much as I hate to admit this, I was really bored to death like I was three years ago on my own graduation day. Old habits die hard.
My ex-headmaster, Mr. Leow. His twins had also just graduated from my secondary school last Thursday, BTW.When the VIPs were blabbing their hearts out, I scanned the hall with my laser eyes.
AND I SAW THIS!
THERE WERE AIR-CONS IN MY SCHOOL HALL!I know, I know. You might think it's no big deal but when I was still studying there, there weren't any in the hall so it was a big discovery for me. That explains why the hall was so cooling and not stuffy and hot like when I graduated. LOL.
Oh, yea. There's this snobbish lady who sat beside me the whole time. She's like so lala although she looked almost forty already. When I took out my digital cammie to snap a few photos, she glanced at me and smirked. Then, she zipped open her bag slowly and took out a DSLR. She held it close to me, expecting me to go gaga over it. Pfft! So what if I don't have a DSLR? At least I'm not a showoff! And the whole time, she didn't even take a single picture. Dweeb. While I was wriggling around in my seat (I was restless), the lady beside me glared at me but I ignored her. She reminds me of those airheads I see in movies. == I think after some time she felt hot and she took out a scrunchie to tie her hair. After she was done, she kept smoothing out her side sweep bangs. She didn't want to stuff them behind her ear and yet she wanted to rid them from her eyes. Ironic, no? You might think I'm nosy, poking my nose into her business but EXCUSE MOI! Her elbow was obstructing my view the whole time when she was trying to stuff-and-not-stuff her bangs behind her ears at the same time.
FINALLY, at some point, she left. God answered my prayers. No, scratch that. I haven't even started praying and God had answered them. Amen! =D
After a long string of speeches, students of Hin Hua Kindergarten gave a stunning performance. They're all so talented and adorable! x3
Next, it was time to give out the certificates and prize money to the top ten best candidates in each standard.

Her voice is as sweet as a nightingale and when she was almost done singing, she cried ('cause I think she's sad to leave her friends). That touched the hearts of many others.
Based on the 1Malaysia theme, the song was presented very nicely. It's a Mandarin song with a twist - chunks of Malay words like kopi-O and nasi lemak here and there. Made me feel mad hungry!
So, this guy reminds me of a pastor. LOL.Before the Standard 6 students graduate, the kindergarteners graduated first...? LOL. It was so hilarious I almost laughed my head off. And the kids were so cute!

Sing, sing, sing! =DIt was time for the Standard 6 student representative to give a speech. I got a shock of my life when a boy appeared. Normally, it was a girl who gave the graduation speech (like Shao Qi in my year and her sister in her year).
I like his voice. ;)And then, the VIPs and class teachers took photos with a phony cheque. The money was donated by the parents of the students to the school.
RM 2300 ONLY? *faints* Ooh, I see Qian Hui's mum! And my ex-class teacher! 8DNext, they announced the Best Male Role Model Award and the Best Female Role Model Award. My eyes almost popped out when I saw Matthias' brother ran up the stage to receive his award. MATTHIAS THIEN'S BROTHER IS THE BEST MALE ROLE MODEL??? 8O AWESOME, I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT! No wonder Matthias was running around with his cammie and his mum looked frazzled. xD Trying to capture the moment Timothy (Matthias' brother) took the trophy. And Timothy's trophy was even taller than him. O_O''' The Best Female Role Model Award went to a teacher's daughter. I didn't take any pictures - there wasn't much time and the role models didn't pose. LOL.
The student representative then went up the stage again to play the graduation songs. Many graduates cried and sang together. What a touching moment! =') I wonder why I didn't cry on my graduation day. == BTW, most of them who wept were BOYS. Emotional generation much? O_O
Like my time, graduates go up stage to shake hands/hug their teachers and headmaster. x'] It's our school tradition.I left early with Caryn following me home. After all, it's not my graduation day so why should I dwell in a mix of happiness and sadness? =P Before my mum came, I couldn't resist buying some snacks from the canteen. I wanted to taste the food and see whether it changed. Of course it did - even the boss had changed! I bought french fries and nuggets to munch on while I was supposed to be on diet! My ballet exam is this Saturday! D8 I admired Caryn as she could resist the temptation of eating junk food. =/
These were my yummy nuggets! They looked like fried durians. O_O I gobbled them up as soon as I was done with the french fries. xDWhen we arrived at my house, I taught Caryn (IDK whether she knew what I was doing) how to manage and edit her blogskin. I set a new one for her and if you're free, go check it out HERE; I didn't do much alterations, though. Caryn, I hope you like it. =D

Hi.Okay, so I did not "magically" disappeared according to Su Li on my tagboard. I went to Penang with my maternal grammies for six whole days! Woohoo! At least I skipped school for a reason; normally, I skip school just for the fun of it. Wanna feel what it's like to be a bad student, not an average one. ;) Many ask, "What is there in Penang?" and I'd reply, "Nothing." Yes, Penang is a small island and the only thing that I'm attracted to over there is the Gurney Plaza. It's not even huge like Mid Valley Megamall and no lift. Seven floors without lifts? Only escalators? They drive your legs crazy, man.
Long post ahead.
Day One
Morning
I brought my red luggage bag like I'm going to Hollywood. When my grammies came to get me at 8.30 am, my grandpa's eyes popped out. I said it's the smallest bag I could bring; others are ginormous! When he opened his car boot, my eyes fell out from it's socket. I didn't expect my grammies to bring so many things! Pots, hoses, bags, baskets, everything you could ever imagine! We're like shifting to Mars! O_O In the end, I placed my bag in the car, seated beside me. I was kinda suffocating behind 'cause I brought so many pillows. =X Hahaha. My grandpa drove to KL and stopped at my mother's cousin's house to wait for Wei Chien (my sorta cousin - no blood relationship kind); he's gonna drive us to Penang. What? You expect my 80-year-old grandpa to fetch us there? No way.
Afternoon
We stopped at Ipoh to have lunch. Yummy famous Ipoh shredded chicken kuey teow! =D... (The dots are saliva, BTW.) I slept throughout the whole journey to Penang like a pig until we were at the Penang Bridge. I didn't even KNOW it was the Penang Bridge, how stupid am I, right? I started suspecting it was the Penang Bridge when I saw we were sorta crossing the sea or something. At last I exclaimed like an idiot, "Oh, we're at the Penang Bridge!" when I saw the pillars. LAME. My grandpa smacked his head while my grandma stared at me. We arrived and started unpacking all the stuff into my grandpa's old house (which is my mother's childhood house) at around 4 pm. Then, we slept again.
Night
Relatives from my grandma's side wanted to invite us for dinner. It was my grandma's sister's birthday. She's 90 years old if I'm not wrong. We went to Starview Restaurant and I must say the food was so-so. The worse part of it all was my grandma's relatives. They came to a part where none of them had anything to say so the focused on me. I was the only child at the round table. They scrutinised me like a specimen being examined thoroughly by a scientist in an experiment. I felt so uncomfortable. The things they said were those stuff people say about you when they have nothing better to say. Like, "Oh, she looks like her mother!" and "What straight teeth you have! You had braces, right?" and "You have eyes like a phoenix!" which I do not. -_- I was glad it was all over when we went home.
Day Two
Morning
Had McDonald's for breakfast. My grandpa loved those Hotcakes. I had Sausage McMuffin, yum! We went back and cleaned up the house. My grandpa plans to sell it. Did I mention there were no TV or any other gadgets whatsoever? It wasn't that bad. I had ample time to shellac my pointe shoes and read my storybooks. Ballet exam's next Saturday (20th of November). *shivers*
Afternoon
My grandpa's side relatives treated us to lunch. We went to Gurney Plaza! I was so excited when I get to see g-Hotel again. LOL, I stayed there last year when I went to Penang with my family. Proof : HERE and HERE. We went to Xuan Xin Restaurant for a Chinese meal. Not too bad; all of us had soya bean drink. My grandpa's side relatives made me feel much more at ease. They're not so uptight and prim and proper. My mother's cousin (I think) brought his son, too. He's a year older than me and attends Heng Ee High School. That explains why he has a buzz cut. My grandpa told me the girls of that school are not allowed to have long hair. It's a school rule. Eww, so many mushroom heads! Later, we went to my grandpa's sister-in-law's condominium. Her whole condo was so windy as the sea breeze kept blowing in. Chun!
Night
We finally found a hawker centre we could dine in at 9 pm. I had wonton noodles. Kinda disappointed 'cause fried kuey teow had to wait. ;(
Day Three
Morning
Ate oatmeal with bananas for breakfast. Simple and healthy. =9 I helped to do the dishes. I didn't know washing plates took such a long time. Yes, I know what you're thinking and you're right. I don't wash my own dishes at home.
Afternoon
My grandpa's nephew came to visit us. Both him and his wife invited us for lunch in Old Frees' Association. The food was [em]scrumdiddlyumptious[/em]! After that we went back and my grammies took forty winks. I paint on another layer of shellac in my pointe shoe.
Night
That same nephew's brother took us to Ocean Green Restaurant for dinner. It was situated by the sea and I held back the urge to run towards the sandy shores. I especially loved the spring rolls they prepared. Yummy! We returned to the house and I texted with Su Li on my mother's spare cellphone. I was halfway through The Lovely Bones. What? I have the art of slow reading. It helps to digest the facts and meanings of words and sentences better.
Day Four
Morning
Yes, we had oatmeal first then went to McDonald's for breakfast. Again. My grandpa really loves the food! But this time, we went with Auntie Soo Eng and Wei Chien. Same old Sausage McMuffin for me and Hotcakes for grandpa. Grandma had a little of both. Auntie Soo Eng had coffee alone and Sausage McMuffin with eggs for Wei Chien. BTW, the coffee and tea is refillable. Awesome, right? After buying some fruits, my grammies and I went to visit another of my grandpa's nephew's wife. His nephew had already passed away. ='( She's a sweet old lady with a friendly daughter. Both of them are teachers. They complained about our education system. I liked listening to them talk while I sat there being silent, taking in the whole conversation quietly.
Afternoon
We visited my mother's eighth aunt. She lives in a flat with her son. I don't know where her daughter went. When we walked into the small room, the whole place was a mess. It was as if they had been robbed; everything was upside down. We chatted for a while then we're off to New World Park for lunch. I craved for fried kuey teow but three of the stalls were fully booked with orders; I didn't want to wait so I ordered tom yam noodles. So freaking spicy! I finished my cam peng (mixture of coffee and tea) in minutes! I sucked on ice as I slurped up the last noodle. My grandpa told me to stop eating 'em but I didn't wanna waste RM 5! Later, we went to visit my uncle's parents-in-law. Their house was huge! And really clean and neat. My grammies chatted with them about everything - from eye cataracts to stock brokers to uh, vitamin M's. It was very fun to hear them chatting in Hokkien and English. There were many words I couldn't understand in Hokkien, though. Lost at some point, haha. We went back for nap time.
Night
We went for dinner at a hawker centre in Genting Road. And finally, I GET TO EAT FRIED KUEY TEOW! 8D 8D 8D I saw the lady boss sitting around doing nothing and when I approached the stall, she sprang up immediately and asked, "Fried kuey teow?" I nodded my head vigorously and asked, "Need to wait?" She shook her head. HALLELUJAH! I figured the fried kuey teow wasn't that tasty as she had no one buying from her but who cares, right? As long as I finally get my plate of fried kuey teow! 8D When it was served under my nose, I knew why nobody wanted to buy it. THE SERVING WAS SO SMALL, I COULD FINISH 'EM IN MINUTES! And they charged RM 3.50 for it, WTC. Nevermind, fried kuey teow at last. =9 Before I slept, I texted with Su Li again about hot Kevin from The Amazing Race. I was at long last done with The Lovely Bones. Not too bad, but sad to say, it wasn't engaging. I started on Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven and couldn't stop. I was already around page 50 when I dozed off.

Day Five
Morning
We ate oatmeal again. The thought of oats sucking out excess oil from our body makes me like them more and more. x) My grandpa wanted to close his safety deposit box in the bank and transfer his stock stuff so we went to this Hwang-DBS Group building. I don't really understand what he was doing so I just waited patiently with my grandma.
Afternoon
At last, everything was settled. My grandpa was ecstatic and over the moon! He even suggested going to Gurney Plaza for lunch. Then, it was my turn to be on cloud nine. xD I introduced them to a restaurant I once went with my mum and sister - Max Gourmet Restaurant - and we started going on the escalator. IT WAS DISASTROUS. No, not the food; we're not even there yet. Max Gourmet Restaurant was on the seventh floor - the highest level - and there were no lifts at all! We rode the escalators till our legs hurt and our heads spun. I felt guilty for leading my old grammies to pain. =( Well, at least my grammies were satisfied when they ate the deep-fried durians. Crispy on the outside and sweet and creamy on the inside! Just like custard! YUMMM! =D...
Night
After plentiful days of relatives treating us to lunch and dinner, my grandpa treated Auntie Soo Eng to dinner. We wanted to go to Pulau Tikus at first but my grandpa wanted to buy some food to give his neighbours and my mother. So, we went to Ghee Hiang on Macalister Road and bought a few boxes of Tau Sar Pneah, Hneoh Pneah and Beh Teh Saw (they're all biscuits). Suddenly, it started pouring with rain. Luckily, I brought out a big umbrella with me and I led my grandpa back to his car. We decided to go to Gurney Plaza to have our dinner instead as we could park inside. We didn't know where to eat. The Manhattan Fish Market? No. Xuan Xin Restaurant again? No. Dragon-i Restaurant? Nah. McDonald's? SICK OF IT. We went up and down escalators, walked back and forth the old wing and new wing, travelled from the basement to the highest floor and FINALLY, we settled for Taiwan food. The restaurant's interior design was marvellous! Although it was all in black and white, it had class and it was chic. My eel with stew rice meal was delicious but my grandpa said my grandma's grilled chicken rice meal sucks. Auntie Soo Eng was quite contented with her pork spare ribs with noodles. The rain stopped when we went back, phew. As I have packed my luggage, I texted with Su Li for a while (SHE SAID KEVJUMBA AND HIS DAD WAS ELIMINATED! D8) then went to sleep while my grammies packed theirs.
Day Six
Morning
We had decided to have breakfast in McDonald's for the last time in Penang. This time, I ate Sausage McMuffin with egg. ;) We didn't chat for long before we bade goodbye to Auntie Soo Eng. Wei Chien brought us home again. My sleeping marathon started once more.
Afternoon
I don't know where we were when we went to Dunkin' Donuts for lunch. It surprised me when I found out there were more food than just doughnuts. I had a tuna croissant and apple doughnut while my grandpa and grandma shared a chicken mayo croissant and raspberry doughnut. Wei Chien took a turkey croissant and blueberry doughnut. As my grandpa wasn't full yet, he bought a banana doughnut. He was quite delighted with the whole meal. x) We continued our journey and stopped at Wei Chien's house in KL. He gave us many DVDs he didn't want anymore and we gave him a box of chocolate cake. At around 3.30 pm, we arrived at my grammies' house and I helped them to unload all their stuff. My grandpa gave me three boxes of Tau Sar Pneah, Hneoh Pneah and Beh Teh Saw, one of each kind, a pomelo and a box of butter cake. Then, he fetched me home. My mother woke up from her afternoon nap and I told her EH-VER-REE-THANG. ;)

If you've read until here, congratulations and thanks. I texted every night with Su Li and on the fifth night when she told me hot Kevin and his dad was ELIMINATED from The Amazing Race, my world shattered into a million pieces. What a bummer! >8( And too bad my face is full of zits now due to all the fried food I'd gobbled down throughout the six days. == Although everyone in Penang speaks in Hokkien and I don't really understand, I enjoyed spending time with my grammies.

Oh. My. Gosh.
Anyway, without me mentioning it the world knows why I am on a "second hiatus". Look at the bright side, I have more screenshots of MS! =D Okay, nevermind. So, I video-called Diana a few days ago on MSN 'cause we had to find some P&W songs to sing in CU. Needless to say, I'm as freaked out as ever. Like always. *rolls eyes* After choosing the songs, I tried playing out the chords given on the sheets for Diana to hear. We wanted to hear whether we can reach the high notes. It was so retarded. I meant my playing, not the songs. And some songs were too high; I didn't want to use my fake voice. I found a website that can help us de-tune (yes, this word doesn't exist but it will soon - mark my words) songs and I was thinking, This website is awesome! until...
I tried to copy-and-paste it in Microsoft Word.
IT CAN'T BE COPIED. When I clicked CTRL + C, a box materialised that tells us to register as a premium member to access to that feature. I was, like, WTC. -_- But, fear not! Ru Min has an idea! *evil grins* If I can't copy the chords this way, I can always COPY them literally. Muahahaha, oh hohoho! I'm not stupid, okay!
After we were done preparing the P&W songs, Diana and I tried singing them. When we reached a part where both of us were out of breath, she said, "I have no air." And I said, "What? No air? Why?" I didn't know that she meant she was out of breath just like I was. "No, I meant 我没有气 already." So, I said, "Oh, lemme bring you something!" And I googled as fast as I could and sent her... a picture of an oxygen tank. LOL, I know I'm lame. ;) When I looked at her to see her reaction, I laughed my head off. On her face, she was already wearing this...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I asked her how did she do that and she told me her webcam had many features. She said, "Watch." And I did.

A few Maplers know I'm a huge fan of doing quests in MS, I even received a quest medal for finishing 800 quests. *sticks nose up in the air* Some Maplers say it's a lot but actually it's like, only a quarter of all the quests. So, there's a Halloween event going on in MS and I had to go to the Phantom Forest to finish a few quests. One was something about finding this Jack person and another was about collecting ten Stormbreaker badges for a quest called The Brewing Storm.
I tried my luck and entered the eerie Phantom Forest. Wrong move, Ru Min, wrong move. *shakes head sadly* I was on my way to activate the Finding Jack quest and boom! Out came this (adorable) brown giant Yeti and a Leprechaun was sitting on its back, controlling it. Reminds me of the sea anemone and the hermit crab. Mutualism, haha. I started shooting fire arrows at it (I'm a fire-poison mage) and MISSED, 3k+, MISSED, 3k+ was shown on top of its head. A HP bar had also appeared on the top of the screen. Weird, I thought. I switched strategy and started hitting it with my wand instead 'cause some event mobs (I thought it was an event mob) require manual hitting from the Maplers.
Once my character touched it, PEW! From the top of my screen fell a tombstone and my character had turned into a ghost. In other words, I DIED LAH! F5 My EXP bar decreased tremendously and my character was sent back to the nearest town. WTH. That cute Yeti mob has fooled me!
Guess what that mob was?
It's a Bigfoot. ==ZZZ. 110 level, of course I died instantly after touching it! The touch of death, I call it. But being a determined person like I am, I tried my luck again with my brother beside me, giving me moral support(?). Just like before, tombstone kept falling down from the top of my computer screen until my EXP bar went straight to 0.00%. Ahh, great. F3

[CLICK TO VIEW]But, alas! With the help of my brother, I'd succeeded! *cues heavenly background song* I'd reached the Valley of Heroes 1! Almost there! I stopped there for a while to take a breath. My palms were sweating like crazy. I moved my character to the right side of the screen a little to check out the map and saw this long tiang (pillar) twirling and moving towards me at the same time. I rushed back to my safe spot and double-clicked Sage (the NPC - Non-Player Character - there) to find out WTH it is.
"...if you value your life, you'll not touch the column..."
I didn't know what that meant and moved my character to the tiang. PEW! Once again, a tombstone landed on the ground. That tiang finished me off by 50k+ damage!
[CLICK TO VIEW]DIE. F5 All my effort and EXP and time and energy had gone down the drain - just like that. F5 I gave up and went back to the foyer in the haunted house. Now, I need to get back all my EXP by training. == I'd found some guides after googling and quite a handful of Maplers had commented it was one of the easiest jump quest in MS. Maybe, but you have to master the steps. If you wanna do this jump quest, I think you'd better go for a medical check-up first. Your heart might suffer from a freaking heart-attack. *nods head*
This is the crappiest and shittiest thing I've ever done in my entire MapleStory life.

PMR IS FINALLY OVER!
After all those days of studying my socks off to ace this bloody test, I'm finally FREE! And freedom is sweeeeet! I'm gonna miss you, PMR. ='( NOT. Actually, I don't really feel free or anything. The happiness has not set in. Yet. *cackles* My mind is still swirling with a few Mandarin answers. Speaking of Mandarin, lemme tell you this : THE MANDARIN PAPERS WERE THE BOMB!!! It was SO EASY! NO, SERIOUSLY, I'M NOT BRAGGING! Imagine a noob in Mandarin (me) who always gets ten or more questions wrong in Paper One saying this, what more a pro like you (if you took the Mandarin paper)?
I ONLY WRONGED FIVE QUESTIONS THIS TIME.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
MIRACLE! IT'S GOD'S MIRACLE!!! Before the paper, I prayed so hard till my eyes and brain and fingers hurt and true enough, God did not forsake me. Without God's grace, I'm sure something like this would not have happened. SERIOUSLY. I really thank God for this miracle. I just hope that God will let me be in favour with the examiners as they assess my Paper Two's for all language subjects. Amen.
So, GOODBYE Form 3 books that are stacked in every room of the house and HELLO... Form 4 books. *groans* No, let's not start stressing about next year. What I meant was STORYBOOKS! =D Oh, yea, and this is the list of books that I'd like to read over this three months of my freedom. Anyone who has them, can you please be so kind to lend them to me?
